Alberta Panel Calls for Regulatory Streamlining
Trimming red tape! What a thought ...
A long-awaited provincial report on reducing red tape for small Alberta businesses calls for streamlined regulations and creating a "service delivery culture" within government.
The report of the Red Tape Reduction Task Force, posted on the province's website Tuesday, said small businesses feel government regulations are too often written with large corporations in mind.
As well, a number of entrepreneurs see the current Alberta government regulatory system as inflexible.
