No Bump for Romney
Despite a well-reviewed showing in Tampa, polling numbers aren't budging
Despite a week of high-profile speeches and events designed to introduce Americans to the Republican presidential nominee, a new tracking poll from Gallup suggests that Mitt Romney received no bump in the polls as a result of the Republican National Convention.
The survey, which polled voters between August 31 and September 3, showed Romney with 46 percent support, while President Obama earned 47 percent support.
