TAMPA – No convention is complete without a balloon drop.

This video is what the balloon drop looked like from my vantage point on the floor near the Washington and Iowa delegations.

Worth noting that the women in both delegations reacted more positively to Mitt Romney's speech than the men.

After seeing that convention floor, I think I have the answer to this classic question.

The Android exceeded all expectations. I think he is a winner. I'm optimistically predicting Mittens may make it past Day 7 in his first 100 before he really pisses me off.

      I m already pissed off.

The only joy I expect to get is the time between when Obama loses and before Romney takes the oath.

      Perhaps I shall vacation.

You're expecting to be happy when Obama is bitter and unaccountable? With literally thousands of pages of regulations to release? And God only knows what other executive diktats in mind?

Not to mention the lame duck session to end all clusterfucks, as they try to avoid the fiscal cliff?

I expect Obama to step up his golfing and steal as much as he can after he loses in November.

The balloon thing is gay and wasteful and inappropriate for a serious conference. Just like the republican convention.

I pulled the string on three of those balloon bags. I wondered what it looked like from the floor. I could hear the producer in my headset and he kept complaining they were coming down in clumps.

And yes, there were a lot of white women there, many with unrealistic-looking bleached hair.

And the thing was opened by a prayer from a Mormon preacher. That's got to be a first. Uh, Diversity?

Dude seems to be talking a whole lot of smack man, WOw.

Did their cheers sound something like, "He and his son are SOOOOO handsome!!!!"?
