No Economic Boost From Olympics

Tour firms, hotels and restaurants complain of slow business

|

Businesses in London have rejected claims that the Olympic Games gave the economy in the capital a boost, it was reported.

Popular tourist attractions like the West End were less busy than expected while shops and travel organisations said it would be difficult for smaller firms to recover.

The experiences of smaller companies contradicts comments by Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt in which he said London 2012 would bring business to Britain.
