    What are Chicago values, exactly?

    1. Lord Humungus   13 years ago

deep dish pizza, corruption at all levels, and the Cubs.

      1. Restoras   13 years ago

Cubs? I thought the Bears or the Bulls were Chi-town's team. Heck, even the Blackhawks won a championship recently.

      2. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

Also - oddly enough - fried chicken.

        1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

Harold's Fried Chicken, to be exact.

          1. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

Does Harold hate the gays too?

            1. Bucky   13 years ago

irony, irony, Emanuel means "God with us"...

    2. Mike M.   13 years ago

They were best articulated by Jimmy Malone in "The Untouchables": kill the other guy before he kills you.

  2. Lord Humungus   13 years ago

that head looks like a gun pointed at the church - what is he trying to say there?

    1. Generic Stranger   13 years ago

That he has a thing for dick faces.

      1. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

        He just hates Prune Tracy.

    2. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

more to the point, why does Chick-Fil-A's fast food walk around churches in checked shirts? Who eats ambulatory, vaguely humanoid fast food anyway (apart from Michael Moore)?

      1. Generic Stranger   13 years ago

        Roseanne Bar and Rosie O'Donnell

        1. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

          STEVE SMITH

          1. Generic Stranger   13 years ago

And how do you know that Rosie O'Donnell isn't STEVE SMITH. Have you ever seen them in the same room together? Well, HAVE YOU?!

            1. Bobarian   13 years ago

              Rosie's dick is bigger.

  3. sage   13 years ago

Does anybody actually wear a Chik-fil-A shirt, even gay haters? Even people that work there?

  4. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

Why did they drop an anvil on that poor grunge musician's head?

  5. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

Because they made him mail fish on Fridays?

  6. Bee Tagger   13 years ago

Chick Fil-A turned it's back on the Catholic church?

    1. Generic Stranger   13 years ago

      That's a dangerous thing to do...if you're a choir boy.

  7. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

I like how it's "Catholic Church" - the cheaper generic version - rather than the fancy-pants name-brand like St Joseph of Cupertino

    1. $park?   13 years ago

That's not just any generic Catholic church, it's the +Catholic Church. Unfortunately, they don't pull in as much tithe money as the ++Catholic Church down the road.

      1. Warren   13 years ago

All the new Catholics worship at the #Catholic Church.

  8. $park?   13 years ago

Payne really had the creative juices going this week. Must have been quite the undertaking to turn the comments of several million people into a picture.

  9. Longtorso   13 years ago

There should be a 4 word limit in the Friday Funnies. Next week's will probably look like the opening crawl to Star Wars - just a bunch of words going down the screen.

  10. sarcasmic   13 years ago

    This monkey's gone to heaven...
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHVKndMZIwI

    1. Warty   13 years ago

      OH GOD NOOOOOOOOO

  11. Longtorso   13 years ago

Sad thing is, the whole Catholic child rape thing isn't even one of the "non Chicago values" in question.

  12. PS   13 years ago

Why is the Hunchback wearing a Chick-Fil-A shirt.

    "Sanctuary! Sanctuary!"

    1. PS   13 years ago

Why was I not made of breaded chicken - like thee?

    2. $park?   13 years ago

I don't know that guy's name, but his face rings a bell.

      1. Restoras   13 years ago

I think he was in a Pink Panther cartoon.

        1. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

"Do you have a lie-SAWNNNNNNNSSSS for that MINKee?"

        2. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

I've now got the slinky PP theme stuck in my head. Bastard.

          1. Restoras   13 years ago

            Earworm!

            1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

              Curse Restoras' nimble typing skillz!

              1. Restoras   13 years ago

It's all that time pushing counters around hexagonal mapboards!

          2. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

The Mancini Ear Worm strikes again!

      2. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

        Hiyo!

      3. PS   13 years ago

        *golf clappers*

  13. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

Not horrid. Something worse. A terrible thing found deep in the recesses of man's mind. A place not discussed in polite company. And therefore appropriate for H 'n' R.

    Two waffle-fry-grease-coated thumbs up down.

  14. Longtorso   13 years ago

Did Payne just award himself " + 1 Catholic Church" for that cartoon?

    1. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

Joke's on him, he should have identified it first. It's actually a -3 Cursed Catholic Church, Backbiting. Enjoy dying to a couple of gnolls now, scrub!

      1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

Vorpal Comment of Sarcasm, +6 to hit.

        1. Restoras   13 years ago

Ahh, the highly coveted vorpal sword. Decapitation on any natural 20 roll? Was that the rule?

  15. Tim   13 years ago

    WHat does it mean?

    1. $park?   13 years ago

It represents Chick-fil-A's existential cry for help that can do nothing but echo across the void since the church has been shut down. It show Chicago's crisis of faith as they blindly follow their mayor in turning their backs on the once great church. It stands for the loneliness that all must feel when the gates of Heaven are closed off by men of power.

  16. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

He would if could... but Cardinal George swings big dick in that town.

  17. Rich   13 years ago

Sorry, Henry, that's the worst rendering of Joe Bltzflk I've ever seen.

  18. Loki   13 years ago

So what "Chicago values" does the Catholic church not share?

    Child molestation?
Rule by a small group of incredibly corrupt elites?
    Cronyism?

  19. Broseph of Invention   13 years ago

    1. Is it really all Rahm's fault when the church attendees invite him in every Christmas with "O Come, O Come, Emanuel"?

    2. Why is the cartoon styled in selective coloring like Sin City? Is he implying the Catholic Church is full of sin?

    3. Is the yellow shirt responsible for attracting the killer bee swarm?

    4. Don't Catholics already think the church is closed on days other than Easter and Christmas?

This whole thing creates more questions than it answers, especially with so few labels.
