Nick Gillespie on MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry, Talking Debt, War Against Women, You Name It.
Last Saturday, May 19, I was on the MSNBC show Melissa Harris-Perry, talking a blue streak with the eponymous host, Katrina vanden Heuvel of The Nation, Ezra Klein of The Washington Post, Elon James White, Victoria DeFrancesco Soto of University of Texas, and Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.).
We covered a lot of ground, ranging from the Violence Against Women Act to European budgets to Trayvon Martin.

I heard Gillespie punched vanden Heuvel to illustrate his opposition to the VAWA.
As long as he didn't punch her in the VAWA.
Katrina used to be hot in the last century.
Rich, attractive, and mind-bogglingly stupid, can sometimes have a certain appeal.
This just in: Trayvon Martin is still dead.
WEW on the Trayvon outrage

Threadjack: The world's best lawyer ad(s).
I believe he's a Texas attorney. I like to think it's RC Dean, but he's not that kind of lawyer. Though I suppose this could be a sideline.
"I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man."
Given the huge number of young attorneys who lack decent employment, I think the day when people can have a lawyer/driver of their very own is fast approaching.
Are any of those for the Texas Hammer??
No, it's Adam Reposa.
In the lore of libertopia, it is known that the wearer of the infamous leather jacket of Gillespia is imbued with a complete and total resistance to catty hyperbole and race-hustling.
Speaking of the war on women. Why would anyone mess with S.E. Cupp? She's the bomb.
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=51698
"What would S.E. Cupp look like with a cock in her mouth?"
You know, I've wondered that same thing.
She is quite fetching. The problem with this is that how do you retaliate? It is not like there are any women on the other side who anyone, even after a few decades in a Turkish prison, would find anything but nauseating to see in such a position. Seriously, do you really want to see the Nancy Pelosi or Michelle Obama porn photoshop?
Stephanie Sandlin was probably the best they can do. And even she's outflank by her replacement Kristi Noem.
They really hate Nick Gillespie in the MSNBC comments. 🙂
Apparently, he's a rude person who needs to learn boundaries and the obligations the community has to children.
He needs to submit.
Hilarious - they are amazed and offended every time he says something factual.
They're not facts!
REALITY HAS A LIBERAL BIAS! DAMMIT!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
I was just going to post that one. If it wasn't five on one, we would have won.
I like this one. This is bringing the crazy. Why can't this guy troll over here? He is almost as good as Herc.
s Prophet, Theologian, Pastor, and Founder of Afrocentric Judaism delineated as, YAHWEH El Shadday (YES) International Ministries Inc., it was good to see Dwight Hopkins mention my God and Savior Yahweh El Shadday (God Almighty) without the English translation which distorts the truth of who our Savior is defined most expressly by the following text: "11 I, I [am] Jehovah; and besides me there is no Savior" (Isaiah 43:11Darby), "4 Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no Savior beside me" (Hosea 13:4 KJV with Strong's Exhaustive Concordance correction). Since these two undeniable and unalterable biblical texts prove beyond any reasonable doubt that my God is Savior, why does Christianity act as though these facts don't exist to call Jesus, Savior? Does Christianity support White Supremacist Theology through removal of God's name from the bible, changing it to a title, The Lord, and ascribe that title to the false Christ, Jesus of Nazareth? The Old Testament is primarily a book about a Black family, Adam and Eve's, and Black people, proven through Genesis 10, coupled with what we know of the science, biology.
Since our postulations are provable of Blackness of Hebrew and Jewish people, along with Jesus being a false Christ, why does our Afrocentric Judaism religion get silenced through Black journalists like you?
A+ ramblecrazy there.
I thought Jesus's real name was Yehoshuah....or Joshua.
Jesus simply means Jew's Zeus.
note: That last part I may or may not have completely made up.
Maybe we should tell them that vdare.com readers think he's an leftist immigration-loving fifth-columnist.
@Lakeisha
I am questioning this myself. Gillespie is purposely 'distorting' facts giving his 'opinion' which is nothing but teabagger talking points and monopolizing the conversation obstructing real conversation about the issues. In essence he is the reason the country is screwed up justifying what that idiot Bush did then blaming Obama...
We will never get out of this mess unless we get people like Gillespie to admit they are wrong finally.
We will never get out of this mess until we properly re-educate people like Gillespie.
You know it would be great if the government would set up some kind of a program to deal with people like Gillespie. Maybe a build a few camps so he could be properly shown the error of his ways.
They would have to be camps were people would be free of distraction that leads them to error. Camps where people could really concentrate, undisturbed.
They would have to be special concentration camps. Yeah, that is it.
Exposed, vulnerable women - mmmm.
If I dress up like a professional wrestler, will they invite me on this show?
Oh god I had to stop. Katrina vanden Heuvel just makes me vomit. Nick, how and why do you sign up to be surrounded by so much stupid? What's the point?
A "Doug Jones" average. Barf. Barf. Barf.
I didn't make it either. I tried to skip to the Nick parts. He rarely got to finish a thought before being shouted down by a room full of idiots.
PWND
Who knew that Jefferson Davis (or Robert E. Lee) wanted to destroy the federal government? I thought they just wanted to leave and form their own.
Thats really annoying dude, seriously.

Every time the camera cut to Melissa Harris-Perry during or just after Nick spoke her lips would disappear.
A huge thank-you to Nick Gillespie, for venturing into the cats' den, and offering a voice of nuance and reason within a pea soup of extremist gibberish.
I have several Progressive friends whose minds are almost as muddled as this, and every time I browse my Facebook news feed, I wrestle with how to take them seriously and treat them with respect. Nick, sycophants may call you "an obnoxious snot," but that's only because you managed to get your ideas across. And the way you responded to them, intelligent, measured, without going off the deep-end in any direction, that inspires us all.
