Next Time Write a Letter to the Editor
Berkeley, California, police chief Michael Meehan has apologized for sending one of his sergeants to a reporter's home at 1 a.m. to demand corrections to a story. Reporter Doug Oakley agreed to make one of the changes Meehan wanted to a story he did about a local murder. But Meehan continued to call and email him the next day asking for more changes.
