New Ron Paul Ad Calls Romney a "Flip-Flopper"--Does That Count as an Attack?
Update: As commenter Bart points out, this ad first went up on Paul's Youtube channel a month ago. For some reason, the campaign posted it again yesterday (the upload date for the below version of the "Three of a Kind" ad is Feb. 28, 2012; the first pub date was Jan. 16, 2012). Unlike most of the Paul campaign's ads, however, this ad is "unlisted"; meaning "only those with the link can see it." My guess: The Paul campaign uploaded and circulated the ad again to convince campaign reporters that they are not colluding with Romney.
Original: Ron Paul's campaign has released an ad attacking Gingrich, Santorum, and--yes--even Romney.

this ad is already like a month old, or even more...
My guess: The Paul campaign uploaded and circulated the ad again to convince campaign reporters that they are not colluding with Romney.
Ooooh, a conspiracy theory! Discuss!
Was that movie announcer guy? I felt like I was watching a trailer. I know it's a long shot at best, but damn I'd love to see the ads his campaign came up with for Obama.
It might be because that music sounded so much like Batman Begins/The Dark Knight.
Yes, he is. I believe anyone fit to run for office should make up their mind and then stick to it. It is not acceptable for politicians to change their mind.
Changing your mind rarely and when you have been wrong is a good thing.
Changing your mind as often as you change audiences is a bad thing.
It also helps if you're capable of admitting you were wrong in the past and believably explaining why you changed your mind.
Romney fails at step 1, Santorum at step 2.
Ron Paul fails at step 1 on the newsletter issue.
Saying it was a bad idea and he regrets it is failing at step 1?
I can see why you are in the tank for Obama-lite mittens.
Saying you regret something happening is not saying you were wrong. Two very different things.
I haven't seen him say the newsletters were a bad idea in general.
I mean, seriously, has Ron Paul admitted he was wrong about anything ever? Unless you think he's been right about everything in his public life for the past 30 years that's kind of a problem, no?
He's admitted being wrong about supporting Reagan. Said he was wrong to support Bush II.
Little things like that....
He didn't admit being wrong, just that he was disappointed in what they did once in office. He crows about supporting Reagan in 1976 in some of his YouTube videos, for God's sake.
So, Tulpa, will you be apologizing now? Admitting you're wrong? Will you hold yourself to the same standards you hold others?
I've admitted I was wrong about many things. These were just questions.
And I don't recall RP saying he was wrong to support Reagan or Bush, just that they were disappointing.
If anyone says even as much as "I disagree with President Obama", THAT will be an attack.
"I disagree with President Obama"
RACIST!!!111!!!
Was this ad supposed to cause me to seize? It's unlisted because you need a prescription to view it.
So basically people who already support Ron Paul will see this video.
Has it been shown on TV at all?
I don't see the Romney/Paul thing as so much an alliance as a recognition that their interests align.
I think the 30 second ads are the ones being run on TV, so probably not.
But, people post ads on facebook/g+, so nonsupporters do see them.
This ad is currently being run in Washington state from now until the Saturday caucuses.
Well that's good. But Romney isn't really doing much there, is he?
only Ron Paul 2012 can get to teh troof behind 9aweven!!
If Romney ever takes Ron Paul seriously, just imagine the attacks he could launch. Let's see, there's the racist newsletters, the neo-Nazi connections, the fake eyebrows. Why does the old fuck wear fake eyebrows? It's got to be some underground Nazi thing. But not to worry, nobody who matters is ever going to take Ron Paul seriously.

Re: Maxipad,
That is, nobody that matters to your mommy... Right?
An uncirculated video? Ooooh, that's gonna leave a mark.
Why would the guy in 4th place even NOTICE the guy in 1st place, much less attack him?
He's going after 3rd place, as he should.
Does That Count as an Attack?
Maybe ....
"I miss the closet. Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities. They could also not be as promiscuous. Is it any wonder the AIDS epidemic started after they 'came out of the closet,' and started hyper-promiscuous sodomy?" ?Ron Paul (June 1990)

That was not either written or edited by Paul, but way to go ahead and attribute it to him. Some people have no shame. Consider this, every real conservative is always panned as a racist/sexist/anti-semitic/homophobe on very specious grounds. Paul has been hit on every front, and it is indeed very specious....this would lead me to believe he is likely a good conservative even if I knew nothing else about him.
"Whether [the 1993 World Trade Center bombing] was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little." ? Ron Paul 'The New York Bombing,' April 1993

"[Martin Luther King, Jr.], the FBI files reveal, was not only a world-class adulterer, he also seduced underage girls and boys? And we are supposed to honor this 'Christian minister' and lying socialist satyr with a holiday that puts him on par with George Washington?" ?Ron Paul -December 1990

see above, again it applies. Also, the quote is from MLK's FBI file. Hard to attribute that to Paul isn't it?
Yes, I agree. Ron Paul sounds like a dog--a German shepherd.
i share angst against the person who raised you in midst of too much insult during your upbringing.
Dude knows he is like totaly rocking it

can somebody at reason do a write-up with this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?f.....7K9YASQ3do
exchange between ron paul and ben bernanke at a meeting discussing financial reforms today
I guess Paul is pretty good choice for president, just have a few disagreements with him on immigration. He wants to stop taking our money and giving it away, and it sound like he would make immigration easier; however he's against amnesty. Then there's abortion? but I guess leaving it up to the states is good enough for me.
