Fox Business Network Cancels Judge Andrew Napolitano's Freedom Watch
Bad news, freedom fighters! Judge Andrew Napolitano's Freedom Watch, the best damned daily libertarian news & argument show in the history of television (name a better one!), has gotten the axe from Fox Business Network. From the press release:
FOX Business Network (FBN) will debut a new primetime schedule featuring encore presentations of the channel's top post-market programs, announced Kevin Magee, Executive Vice President of the network. Starting February 20th at 8 PM/ET, viewers will find additional airings of The Willis Report (5PM & 8PM/ET), Cavuto (6PM & 9PM/ET) and Lou Dobbs Tonight (7PM & 10PM/ET). The new lineup will replace FreedomWatch with Judge Andrew Napolitano, Power & Money with David Asman and Follow the Money with Eric Bolling. […]
In making the announcement Magee said, "Neil Cavuto, Lou Dobbs and Gerri Willis are the most trusted names in business news and this new lineup affords FOX Business viewers additional access to their no-nonsense take on the day's financial events. We look forward to Judge Napolitano, David and Eric continuing to make significant contributions to both FOX Business and FOX News. In addition to daily branded segments, each of them will be showcased throughout future programming on both networks."
Currently one of the leading judicial analysts on television, Judge Napolitano will continue his role on both FOX Business and FOX News, providing key legal insights surrounding the growing intersection between Washington and Wall Street. […] Stossel, hosted by John Stossel, will continue Thursdays at 10PM/ET.
Well, boo (except for that last sentence).
Freedom Watch was a great friend to Reason, of course, but more importantly to anyone worried about the size and growth of government in all aspects of our lives. And despite (or maybe because of?) the show's stronger-than-usual ideological/philosophical content, the judge knew (and knows!) how to run a perfectly respectful debate with people who disagree strongly with him, which is a rarity in the cable world. Television needs more spaces like that.
Read Judge Napolitano's cover story in the January 2012 issue of Reason. Here's Nick Gillespie interviewing the judge in November:
And here's the judge speaking at a Reason event in 2007:

I suppose it's just a ratings thing. Anyone interested in the content doesn't watch much 24 hour cable news.
I'd say it is about money. Dumping the judge, Asman, and Bolling vs. re-racking three shows from earlier in the day. Not hard to see the savings there. Ruppert's taking it pretty hard with lawsuits abroad; wonder if he'll be hit with some here over the hacked calls.
True, they need to cut down on the crap. Liquidate Business and consolidate the good stuff in News. That goes for all the NBC's too.
the best damned daily libertarian news & argument show in the history of television
Whoa, Nelly!
"Libertarian" means shouting and spouting a haphazard and inconsistent mix of philosophically legitimate, individualistic, capitalistic premises with awkward, uncomfortable and embarrassingly conservative Christian boilerplate?
There are those who would argue that some principles of liberty, sprinkled atop a sloppy gumbo of conservative mush, is a step in the right direction. I, the Mean Girl, would posit that such a surrender to the Imbecile Right serves only to diminish and undermine whatever legitimacy (and I use that term generously) we of the True Faith have to offer, and I'm not just talking about boobs links.
Carry on. Whatever.
Apparently Mean Girl, you have ZERO knowledge of Libertarians. Sounds like you need to get your medications adjusted.
Whoa Nelly!
Thanks, Mean Girl, the boob links are the only reason I read Reason!
I hope Selma's a libertarian, cause she's got my vote for President or Emperor or whatever!
nobody understood anything you just spewed out in that "rant" comment! my head almost exploded from reading that total illogical 4th grade comment!

Dear Ms. Briganti:
I subscribe to the Fox Business Network primarily to watch FreedomWatch. I do like John Stossel and many of the other FBN shows, but I added FBN at a cost of $10 a month or so to my Infinity/Comcast account to watch Judge Napolitano.
I will be de-subscribing on the last day his show airs.
I will be pointing this out to many friends as well.

I have sent my email and thanks for that information and I like you only watch the station for the Judge and Freedom Watch. Thank you.
This sux. I have turned so many people on to Freedom Watch and now they pull the plug. Judge Napolitano isn't on an ego trip like O'Reilly or Hannity. He doesn't sit there and stare in the camera with a silly "look how cute and witty I am" expression like the Fox News jerks. The Judge educates his listeners. Unfortunatly, the ignorant masses of Americans don't want to be educated, they want to be 'entertained' by idiots like Rush, Hannity, and O'Reilly
Well this fucking blows!!! Thanks a lot Faux News (or business, same fucking difference.) I wondered how long Fox would tolerate an actual voice of truth and liberty on their networks. Fuck them to hell!
The big suprise is they killed Eric Bolling. He is one of their best warmongers. He is probably a sacrificial lamb to obfuscate.
with your use of the "language, you should be watching the x rated programs, not a business network, it seems
Cavuto and Dobbs are morons. Don't know about Willis. Tis' a shame
Cavuto is far from a moron and Dobbs is better now that he is liberated from the previous network. His focus is now on bloated spending and budgets.
Stossel, hosted by John Stossel, will continue Thursdays at 10PM/ET.
...for now.
The Judge was violating the Fox News Ron Paul mention embargo. Too many references to that fourth candidate who should not be named.
And of Lew Rockwell, and of Jacob Hornberger, and of David Boaz, and many others. That's what was great about the Judge's show, it lined up great people from the whole libertarian spectrum. I don't think anything could top it. Shame on FBN for this, for taking the show off the internet just to give it the ax later. But the day of reckoning is not far, my friends.
You know something, I didn't even think of that! Very, very good observation! The judge was advocating too much for Ron Paul so Fox had to ax him! VERY GOOD!
+5 Stanford-Binet points
Fist of E, that is EXACTLY what I thought! Napolitano mentioned and promoted 'he that shall go unnamed!' LOL!!! Same with Johnny S, he'll be next!!!

AW HELL. That sucks.
Read Judge Napolitano's cover story in the January 2012 issue of Reason.
In all fairness, this was one of the worst stories I ever read in the print edition. Bloviating about natural rights and moral absolutes might make good shouting head television, but it makes for poor advocacy journalism.
Shame about his show, tho.
Yes, because philosophy is stupid, his article was bad and he should feel bad. Let's not talk about why we believe anything, just the practical merits. Because half the picture does a great job of convincing others.
As you might guess from my handle, I think philosophy is anything but stupid.
But there are subtler ways to work libertarian philosophy into magazine stories than starting from first principles or going full reductio with every anecdote.
I agree with the guy and even I found his writing to be stuffy and condescending. Imagine what someone who is unfamiliar with or hostile to libertarianism would think.
I'd bet they would start with "why am I reading a libertarian magazine?"
In seriousness, though, I don't have to imagine what someone unfamiliar to libertarianism would think. Not two years ago, I WAS one of those people, and it was precisely Judge Napolitano's writing about natural rights and first principles that changed my mind.
Sure, there are subtler ways to go about it, but the goal is not to be subtle. It's to convince people they are wrong, and that isn't done well through subtlety.
Shut up you neocon or are your really a pinko?! You try to sound like you know what you're talking about, but you don't know crappola!
Unleash the libertarian purge!
Did somebody say surge?
No that is Santorum. I am at CPAC where everyone is talking about the Santorum surge with no irony.
Spurge.
MSNBC should fire their entire lineup in solidarity.
and if they did, who would notice?
Why, dozens of people!
There are dozens of us! DOZENS!
Well, pairs of us.
OK, just me and some pears.
Canned pear halves.
Yeah, it's actually pear juice from a can I opened last week.
It's Confucius.
It's a transliteration from Chinese characters. He can spell it however the fuck he wants.
I'm confuced.
... spilled on my shirt last week.
if you count all the schizophrenics, their are millions of us! Of course, if you omit the delusionals, than it is mere 10's of thousands...
Fucking bullshit. I was just thinking yesterday how amazing it is that Fox Business has two prime time libertarian shows. Guess they finally noticed what a pro-Paul guy the Judge is, and couldn't have any more of that.
I was thinking the same thing.
Any it's pretty pathetic that they're replacing the current lineup with replays of shows from Fox News. They're not even showing new programming.
The didn't even have time to get new programming figured out yet. They had to cancel the judge's show real quick. Way too much talk from the judge about Ron Paul! Faux News Channel, bought off and paid for!
Well now who's going to yell at me about liberty?
Warty?
...fair enough.
FUCK YOU, JIMBO! FUCK YOU!
YOU SHUT YOUR GODDAMNED WHORE MOUTH!!!
At least they're keeping Dobba, amiright?
Barf.
Eh... Dobbs... that guys doesn't deserve to have his name spelt correctly anyway.
Dobba the Hutt
rofl
This sucks! Gonna miss the Judge! I didn't think Asman was too bad either. Wanna-be-Hannity Bolling's show sucked major ass, though.
the judge knew (and knows!) how to run a perfectly respectful debate with people who disagree strongly with him
Really? From the youtubed versions i watched that were linked here i always felt the show was sensational and clipped....but that might be a problem with the medium in general.
That was just the high energy intro that was like that.
That and the fast paced quick fire questions and leaving only time for half assed sound bite answers.
It made me miss Glen Beck's chalk board....and if I am lamenting Glen Beck's chalk board then you have failed as a TV program.
If you had any brains you fucking knew this was going to happen. The judge was anti interventionist and the war mongers at Fox could not let him live.
TBH I expected this years ago. I think they put up with him because of his ratings and to keep up the illusion of being fair and balanced. But since it is an election cycle and Ron Paul is actually still in the race they can't let that shit go on.
And am I the only one who remembers how in early 2009 Fox News was all over Ron Paul talking about how great he was? That was when the Tea Party was really getting up and running and just about the time the GOP establishment started to co-opt it.
You must be.
Time for a Johnson/Napolitano ticket on the LP line.
Yeah.
This some ol bullshit.
Gerri Willis is a populist know nothing and has made many anti capitalist comments.
"Lou Dobbs and Gerri Willis are the most trusted names in business news"
Right!
They are replacing Power & Money with David Asman and Follow the Money with Eric Bolling, as well with Dobbs, Cavuto, and Willis reruns?
If they really want ratings, they should do a show with Liz Clayman and Nicole Petallides fondling each other. If they looped that 24/7, I'd never leave the house.

The Judge got bad ratings. This is still terrible news. I hope somebody buys out his contract soon so he can go on somewhere else and have his own show.
Dear DirecTV, about my channel package which includes FBN...
Did Diebold do the rating?
Go die in a fire fox news executives
Lou Dobbs is not allowed in my home, fuck that protectionist.

Red Eye. Maybe it isn't better.
I was about to post this.
You may indeed be right. I was filing that in another category....
the best damned daily libertarian news & argument show in the history of television (name a better one!)
Red Eye. Maybe it isn't better.
Much neocon, but watchable.
Haven't watched it in a long time. Now the only time I catch it is when The Jacket is on.
Gutfield has a quote, "I became a conservative by hanging around liberals, I became a libertarian by hanging around conservatives. (but I don't think he has quite jumped ship) Levy tries to be libertarian.
Levy, when I watch, seems to me to be more libertarian than Greg. In any case Levy v Coulter a few days/weeks ago was the greatest thing ever on Fox.
A conservative is a liberal who was mugged. A libertarian is a conservative who was mugged by the state.
The mainstream media corruption continues
This is the free market working. People wanted something other than the Judge.
Disappointing but true. I really like the judge, but I got to where I didn't like his show after about 6 months.
Free market working?! What fuc*ing planet are you from?
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
This sucks! How many F-words can I write here before I get banned?
Pretty much unlimited.
Unless, of course, you preface them with "sheep".
Pretty much unlimited, copying and reposting the entire article article in 39 different foreign languages is bad form and should result in mandatory castration at the very least.
Ask Senator Eunuch about that one.
but only the consenting ones.
no bans for language, evidently and it appears that the f word is the only adjective know by many people-
Look on the bright side, it leaves more time for tossing Ron Paul's salad!
the judge knew (and knows!) how to run a perfectly respectful debate with people who disagree strongly with him
BOR-RING! We only hired the guy because we thought he made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Plus he could whack boring guests, which would be awesome. Turns out that when he said "nice little network you have here," he actually meant it.
Hey how come all you fuckers aren't screaming for the government to do something and fix the.....
Opps sorry wrong audience/website!
There oughta be law
Too bad that Reason.TV is "just" a website, not an actual TV Network.
Hmm, maybe the Koch brothers could buy a fledgling Cable network and turn it into Reason.TV a real Libertarian News Network..
They tried that, but Weird Al and Kramer were able to heroically block the takeover at the last minute.
This made me laugh. Well done.
Even we could kick that network's ass.
See if Oprah wants to make a deal.
From what I've read in the trades, Reason.tv has higher ratings (and it's a lot cheaper to produce).
Drink!
That really was Virginia Postrel, dummy.
Not my fault - "FBN" isn't even provided by my cable company.
Then it is your fault for not having DirecTV like a good consumer!
Faux sucks! Not surprised at all.

I guess I'll go back to watching re-runs of Family Guy on TBS then.
NAPOLITANO 2016!!!
Bitch here:
yourcomments@foxnews.com
What a shame. That leaves only one show I'm willing to watch on any channel with "Fox" in the name: Stossel.
Definitely. And sometimes Redeye. But I mostly see that on the reason TV video podcasts.
I told him not to wear clothes on the air
Boo, indeed-- I've grown fond of that blowhard Napolitano.
They better not mess with my Stossel.

Sheer lunacy! I will not watch FNC and FBN if they do not restore Freedom Watch. It was by far the best one hour of current events news on any commercial or cable channel. The swine responsible for this decision should be flogged. Fox *was* the only somewhat-acceptable channel for news, but without The Judge I'll proba bly just turn to the internet for everything and stop watching any television news at all.
SAY WHAAAAAT?!?! wtf? It figures, since he's a strong supporter of Ron Paul. They can't have any of THAT "nonsense" on their station, can they. That's gonna be a BIG mistake on their part. FOX is just one of the most sadomasochistic news channels around, aren't they. I wonder who'll be watching them now? I guess they're just trying to shut EVERYONE out that doesn't agree with their overall master plan. Good job! Now all you've got left are your dumbass, brainwashed, repubtard sheeple, that don't actually care who's in office, so long as they're a republican. The MSM is already losing credibility. This isn't helping them at all.
This country is fucking full of idiots...Fox will do fine....and so will Obama.
Oddly enough, I'm watching Freedom Watch for the first time ever and Matt Welch is on.
What else would you expect from the Zionist owned FAUX. The POS. The only good show they had.
RON PAUL 2012
He needs to be on GBTV!
I'm so saddened by this! Huge fan of liberty and The Judge. He is one of the greatest messengers of truth and liberty in our lifetime. I can only hope he will go on to do better and greater things to spread the message. He deserves more than the Fox Biz channel; he deserves his own network!
I strongly object to your decision to cancel Freedom Watch. Is Fox selling out too?Reconsider. You will be loosing many viewers.
They were tied up?
I see what you did there.
The talking heads at Fox are being required to become RomneyZombies. The Judge is still backing Ron Paul
Sid you are exactly right. All I see are Romney cheerleaders on fox. That S.O.B. will tell anyone what they want to hear to get elected. You can see the uncontrolled excitement in him to get elected. He bout pisses himself when he is talking to crowds.
Take Stossel instead!
Good fucking riddance.
Good fucking riddance.
Max,
What a strange reaction to one of the few pro-freedom shows on television. I guess anything that distracts you from reruns of the "Bugs Bunny Show" bothers you enough to complain on a sight that calls for reason.
Your an idiot....
The Judge would always talk big, but whenever someone with an opposing view came on, he'd always rollover for them.
His show may be canceled from broadcasting on Fox Business, but it can always reappear on another medium such as another broadcast station or even on the internet. Would you guys at Reason be able to help him find another gateway channel to connect with his audience?
Just when America really started THINKING, they pull the plug. I hope he lands somewhere else. CNN did the same thing to Lou Dobbs, too much truth, so they lobotomized him and put him on Fox.
That you put Dobbs and "truth" in the same sentence tells me something - and it's not in your favor.
lol
so now the Judge can fill that VP slot for Paul and we'll actually get someone talking coherently in the campaign?
wowowowowow
Looks like a bit of a strange coincidence (or is it more then a coincidence?) when Jack Burkman, a GOP strategist who appeared on the last airing of Judge Napolitano then Paul will be on the Republican ticket? Here the clip posted on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StQr-dlxaBM
Well, I suppose this gives the Judge more time to appear on the show of his good friend Alex Jones!
Judge Napolitano says a lot of sensible things, but his gushing over Alex Jones is a fucking embarrassment. I won't miss him nearly as much as I'd miss Stossel were he to get the ax.
Have never seen "Freedom Watch". But long ago I'd catch the Judge doing the talking head thing on various subjects on O'reilly, Greta, etc.
I always used to think, this guy is/was a judge? He's full of shit and his reasoning is, well, unreasonable.
Just saying.
@Copernicus ~ It take a REASONABLE PERSON to understand the reasoning of Judge Napolitano, as well as Ron Paul, my friend!

A small factor to his getting fired could have been his stance on NOT supporting the polic in all situations. He had Radley on a few times and almost daily did a spot of some police/SWAT force busting down a door of an innocent person or police brutality. FOX news seems to always be on the side of the cops, reguardless of the facts. I know Bill O'Reilly is always with cops.
O'Reilly's cop thing is a sort of gay fetish. He's always had this fantasy about handcuffs and (no lube) anal intercourse with a billy club or broomstick.
Now the only reason to turn on FBN is Stossel...Thank's alot (fox/elites)was just a matter of time!! Yea judge will be missed! 🙁 Lick ball's MAX!! , Radar...Alex Jones could teach you a few thing's...so wine somewhere else!..and Copernicus....YOUR AN IDIOT!! He was a judge in New Jersey (hence the reason everybody calls him "JUDGE") duhhh!... He resigned his Judgeship in 1995 to write and defend the rights of friggin Idiot Dumbass's like you!!! do your research before you post stupid shit! JUST SAYING..JUDGE RULES!
FOX is just another side of a corporate controlled media made up of a bunch of war presstitutes. The judge exposed them, so the war profiteers axed him.
I don't watch Fox News anymore...switched from cable TV to Roku when Glenn Beck left. GBTV's Real News from the Blaze is awesome. The format and the panel are excellent!
Glenn Beck needs to add the Judge to his lineup!!!
I can't stand Glenn Beck but they might actually be a good fit.
Unbelievable. One if the very few shows worth watching. Fox is now officially dead to me.
Now the Troof of 9/11 with never see the light of day!
I weep for this Country.
We should be doing more than weeping. Censorship is just beginning.
I enjoyed the show, but when he became a shill for Ron Paul, I knew the end was near. You libertarians need to understand that conservatives understand and agree with most of what you say, but the Ron Paul naive and radical nutjob foreign policy made me turn it off.
Eventually we need to get to a much less intrusive foreign policy, but you can't do that overnight. The poison pill is the legalization of heroin and all that. Seriously?
Anyone who thinks Ron Paul has a weak foreign policy needs to re-examine their position. He says we must adhere to our Constitution and not go into never ending wars without a Constitutionally required approval from congress , and he also states the obvious, that we do not need to have 900 plus military bases around the world that are drainng us financially. As far as the war on drugs goes, anybody who thinks the current method is working is absolutely insane, or corrupt. The government has been caught and has admitted numerous times that they bring the drugs into the country, and that is on record, and then they arrest the people buying the drugs to fill our prisons up with a cheap labor force. That is the system, it is corrupt and it needs to be changed. Decriminalization would certainly be an improvement. It always amazes me that Ron Paul is always made to look like the radical or the oddball, when he is the only candidate who actually believes in the rule of law, who has never voted for any unconstitutional legislation, has never voted for a tax increase or a bailout and is also a veteran. The only sane and honest candidate of course has to be made to look like a kook because any honest person could reveal and then put an end to all of the treasonous and corrupt dealings that have gone on for too long and fleeced the people and destroyed [intentionally] our economy. He is a very dangerous man because he is honest and always has been, what an oddball indeed.
@Bradley Howe ~ READ George Washington's Farewell Address, then come back and tell us if you think Ron Paul's foreign policy is that of a "radical nut-job!!!
Bottom Line: We are losing our country due to the LACK OF HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE of the American majority!
Hosea 4:6 "My people perish for their lack of knowledge"!!!
obvious troll is obvious... EAT SHIT
Judge Napolitano: "I think twenty years from now, people will look at 9/11 the way we look at the assassination of JFK today. It couldn't possibly have been done the way the government told us."
Reason should hire the Judge and make him the head of Reason.TV!
Remember the Maine!!!
Fox viewership should drop after this move. It's a bone-headed decision driven purely by greed. The Willis Report is nothing but commercials interrupted occasionally with some eye candy but no content of value.
If you're doing away with the Judge...then you're doing away with me as there is no reason for me to watch Fox Business News! Goodbye!
Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano was the only show on Fox or FBN that I would watch, always wondered when they would get rid of the only guy who was actually telling the truth. Goodbye Fox.
We should be very afraid.
Perhaps if we turned this lemon into lemonade. With Judge Napolitano's show being canceled, what's to stop him from stepping up to run for the Republican nomination for president, or better yet, us from drafting him? http://www.RepublicansElect.org
If I remember correctly fox announced it was moving more to the left, or someone reported it. I knew the Judge's show would not be on too much longer. You can't have an opinion on any network unless it is liberal. I agree with a lot of people on here, fox will also be losing me. No doubt the three shows they are cancelling all were of the conservative spirit. There were only 2 or 3 I watched on there anymore anyway, so the only loss will be not seeing the Judge at 8 eastern, (big loss). Next thing you know John Roberts will be anchoring a show. I saw his hire as a downgrade for fox. Keep moving left fox and your ratings will be in the tank in a few years like the rest of them. We have the internet (for now anyway) so we really don't need another left leaning cable network.
I knew it was just a matter of time before the judge was given the boot! Too much talk of liberty, freedom, the shennigans of our govt, big brother, etc.
This also goes to show how FOX NEWS is moving farther and farther left. First, they got rid of Glenn Beck, now they've axed the judge. What's next on the chopping block? Probably Stossel if he doesn't watch out.
Let's see who Fox News and Fox Financial ax next.
Hey, FOX! I stopped watching Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, and the blond bimbo after Hannity, I can't even remember her name. Well, I'll just stick to watching Stossel and Follow the Money, until you decide to ax them too.
Bye, bye FOX. Shove it. You call yourselves Americans? I don't think so. You're in Obama's corner, sneaky as it is!
Richard I believe they are cancelling Follow the Money also. Eric Bolling has an opinion. Fox doesn't like that, not if it is of the conservative opinion.
Wow, so people really do watch Fox News. I thought they made up those statistics too.....
I just saw that Fox cancelled Freedom Watch. Now there's no reason to watch Fox.IMO
Guess there is no reason to watch Faux News anymore. Good for you Judge for speaking the truth, the truth hurts Faux news!
It seems like some lesser-known channel could make a name for itself by bringing Freedom Watch to its lineup. Seriously, HDNET, CURTV, ???
Those ba$tards! Now he's freed up to campaign for Ron Paul and be VP.
WHAT!!! How dare you cancel THE best show on your network! Freedom Watch was the ONLY show I watched on your channel. You just gave an excuse to go right past your channel and I know plenty of other people who feel the same way! What was the reason? Did he speek a little too much truth for your CORPORATE INTERESTS? SHAME ON FOX!
I really enjoy The Judge,Stossel,Follow The Money and Power And Money. I gave up on the rest like O'Reilly and Hannity. I signed up with Glenn Beck. Goodbye Fox!!
This is absolutely gut wrenching news. I don't even recognize this country anymore. My heart is broken that this show is not on to spread the truth about what is really going in this country
Oh no! Cancelling my favorite show??? sad sad sad
No more reason to watch Fox Business channel. bye bye!
All I have to say is... wtf
The only good show EVER associated with the fox news brand and they cancel it.
He's one of the sharpest and fairest judicial person on television. Would like to see him set something up on the net, maybe a youtube channel or similar. (maybe he already has one).
The Good Judge Napolitano comes out for Ron Paul, lambastes the other 3 statist candidates; Fox drops Napolitano.
Cause and effect.
The ramifications of the ability of Progressive interests to obscure and wrongly manipulate the enduring truths found in the Constitution of the United States are made evident by the clear, direct dialogue provided night after night by The Judge. One of the few remaining national voices our Nightwatchman has been silenced. It is a strong indication that the end game fundamentally to change America is at hand. To all those who heard his voice, heed his warning, stand firm - defend the Constitution and all it means - as you have never done before.
The Judge is about the only reason to watch FBN. Cavuto is an absolute total jerk. Willis is too full of herself. I will continue to watch Dobbs but then find a movie. Fox is fubar.
Freedom Watch is one of the few TV shows I (for a few days more) watch.
That's because Napolitano cares about freedom and expresses it. Unabashedly.
Perhaps he offers up a vision of a country with too much freedom, with less war mongering and war spending, less invasion of privacy and
too much visible support for Ron Paul.
I'm greatly disappointed.
I'll turn more to the Internet for news and less to TV.
Fox should relaunch the show online. I have to think that the size and affluence of the audience would attract plenty of targeted advertising.
why don't they get rid of oreilly hannity these guys are sooooo much of a neo con and can come to tell the truth oh forgot there run by the gop elites iw ill stop wathing fox
again fox is removing another of my favorite shows.Just goes to show what happens when you talk about small government or Ron Paul.all who threaten "more of the same" will be removed.well im canceling cable now.Our country is in real trouble when the only people who really want to fix it are silenced for such ideas
the judge was real alot more then can be said about all mainstream TV
Best of luck to him and god bless
Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano and guests is one of the most informative and entertaining programs on television. Very sad day this superb, libertarian oriented program is cancelled.
First Glen Beck and now the Judge. I have lost all respect for Fox as I watch them bow to the powers that be. Apparently too much truth can be bad for a network. It's GBTV and the Blaze from now on for me.
I'd sure love to know where the pressure came from.
When I heard the way the other Fox pundits misrepresented Paul's position on foreign affairs, I knew the Judge's days were numbered. It's a damn shame, I learned a lot from him.
Rupert Murdock sold over 3 million (alledgedly non-voting) shares of FOX stock to George Soros.
Now you know why FOX doesn't talk about Ron Paul and axed the Judge.
The Judge & Stossel were the only good shows on FBN... In the last few months, he became too strong an advocate for RP, though. On Friday he announced that there would be some other news this coming week.
Judge Andrew Napolitano is my favorite politcal show. Why is my show being canceled? this is depressing
The Judge is an awesome Constitutional legal authority in the spirit of our founding fathers. This show may be ended, but give him the opportunity to educate and motivate us in our effort to gain back our freedoms
Fox has no spine , running scared from Holder and Obama, they got rid of Beck now the judge, stossel will be next, hope the bastards go broke!

Dear Ms. Briganti, [ irena.briganti@foxnews.com ]
Please do not cancel by favorite show Freedom Watch, with Judge Napolitano, I specifically subscribe to the Fox Business Network primarily to watch Freedom Watch and like John Stossel but I added FBN at a cost of $10 a month or so to my Infinity/Comcast account to watch Judge Napolitano. I will be de-subscribing from FBN on the last day that the Judge's show airs.I will be pointing this out to many friends as well. Signed, Nevermind
Fuck fox
Beck, the judge stossel all need their own tv
Network how else will we ever hear about freedom liberty or Ron paul. The. Fucking liberals have just
Silenced the voice freedom god help America.
When will be be running for the Presidency?
Just another reason NOT to watch any of the Fox stations. I quit watching them long before they tanked Glen Beck.
Rupert Murdoch and the rest of the RINOS running that group of stations are nothing more than Obama Lite.
Fox has lost its' base...hope they enjoy the fact that their former viewers still have the Libertarian/Constitutional- conservative websites on the internet where many of us will now seek our news.
We will follow Judge Napolitano to whatever venue he selects, assuming of course he still wants to continue educating those of us fighting in the trenches against a Federal government which has run amok.
What we are seeing is Obama pressuring Murdoch to remove those programs Obama finds objectionable. Recently the FBI started investigating Murdoch in the UK, once they find some link to Murdoch Obama will control him and Fox through the November 2012 election.
Judge, welcome to GBTV...
Judge, welcome to GBTV...
Sorry to see Judge N go. He was the highlight of my day, and his what if's were fodder for the thinking man's mind. Hard to find a place where great questions are asked, and answers are thoughtful.
frees him up to be veep!
The cancellation of Freedom Watch is most likely for political reasons.
Freedom Watch is the best news program on TV. I'll be damned if I'm going to switch over to O'Reilly. Boo!
Very disappointed and angry about your taking judge Napolitano's unique program off the air I watched it regularly and hope you will change your mind. It is one of few programs worth watching.
What???? You are one of the few defenders of the constitution on TV today. You will be missed Judge I hope to see you on another show. Please keep fighting the good fight:

I guess the establishment has to silence the messenger to make sure that Romney is nominated. But if Ron Paul is not the nominee don't think that we are all going to jump on the GOP band wagon. Ron Paul is the only chance that the GOP has of winning. We will miss you Judge, now I can turn off Fox.
i agree with gerg.

To think I almost got cable at my house just to watch the Judge...
I know this was stated or questioned in the previous 200+ posted comments. But...
Are they going to get rid of Stossel, too?
Feck Fox
The two best shows on Fox are Freedom Watch and Stossel. If stossel gets cancelled I might as well cancel my TV service because there will be nothing left to watch.
I like "Father Ted", but I have all the DVDs already. (Nice comment Father Jack 😉
Tell Magee we all know he caved in to the political pressure and we are all very disappointed in his lack of fortitude (I call it having no balls)
I will have to give serious thought to watching your channel in the future when my only hope for media that takes on this corrupt government bows out.
Fox you disappoint me. who forced you to get rid of him. was he getting too close to the truth. so you allow the banksters to push you around. is varney the next to go? im not sure if i will tune into your station anymore. government coverup that is what this is. shut down the truth. we the people of the united states are not stupid. we will prevail
Hello Fox, You just took the BEST SHOW OFF THE AIR that told the truth to whats going on in this country, A GREAT SPOKESPERSON FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN. I WILL NOT WATCH fOX AGAIN. TEA PARTY
One of the most refreshing and thought-provoking shows on the air, and it's canceled. Go figure. Could it be it competed against O'Reilly in the 8 p.m. time slot?
Segments, especially Freedom File, should be picked up by Stossel or another host. No one, I mean no one, covers subjects like this in such a hardhitting legal and constitutional way.
I often watch 'feedom watch' when O'riely was not on and would flip back and forth when both had material I was interested in. My view, cancelltion was a MISTAKE!
I prefer any good news/money analysis program over the blowhard O'Reilly who really only wants to hear himself talk.
Its bills fault others like me started tunning into fredom watch instead of the factor.Much more to my way of thinking.
the Judge was simply speaking the thoughts of real Americans that still hold liberty dear. I figured they would yank him off the air. Shame on you Fox.
One of the best Fox Business News show on today fair and just. The blowhard O'Reilly who really only wants to hear himself talk and brag and sell his books. Cavto who needs to order Fox Business not me. Bring the JUDGE back.
I will miss the Judge. Always looked forward to watching the show. Bad choice for 8PM time slot, Willis's topics are fluff.
I am totally upset about the judge's leaving. His show was so unique. I could always get a different, fresh, viewpoint and be informed by watching his show. Dang, Fox...get it right, would 'ya!
