VP Attends Closed Door Meeting on Transparency
This entry in Vice President Joe Biden's schedule provides today's dose of irony*:
"At 1:00 PM, the Vice President will attend a meeting of the Government Accountability and Transparency Board in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. At 2:30 PM, the Vice President will meet with representatives of the National Sheriffs' Association in the Roosevelt Room. These meetings are closed press."
Lots more Reason on transparency in government. Me on "transparency chic."
* Obviously, this is a cheap shot. Having a private meeting about ways to make government more transparent might actually be totally reasonable. But since the Obama administration has totally sucked at transparency so far, I see no reason to assume that's the actual goal of the meeting.

The actual goal is how to make the government appear to be more transparent.
Who leaked that we were having this meeting? Heads will roll!
"This is a big fucking deal!"
It's not a cheap shot.
When the government has a meeting on transparency, you can bet your bippy that they're decided what's going to be transparent and how transparent it's going to be if and when it becomes transparent.
They can't have the media taking note of all the crap that they're crossing off their 'transparency' list.
First rule about Transparency Club?
you've already said too much...
it's an inexpensive shot.
Never forget that Joe Biden, like Gabby Giffords, is actually medically certified as brain damaged.
Did Sarah Palin shoot him, too?
They drilled too deep setting the hair plugs.
Are you sure? I understand that Palin is a national menace, who, oddly, the media and the left now ignore for some reason. Just recently. Not sure why, because she's a fucking danger to us all!
It's like she has drawn a crosshair on each and every one of us.
That's why I've been cowering in terror ever since the Republicans unleashed her on America. Them and their guns and corporations and God.

That's because she's systematically replaced all of her media detractors with robots. Robots so good, that you can't tell them apart from the original.
You have to check the hands. They haven't perfected those yet, so it's the only way to tell if it's human or one of her millions of PalinDrones.
She, of course, is a puppet herself. Named after her master, English renegade, Michael Palin.

BP can't do anything right.
With the National Sheriffs' Association too. It can't be transparent for national security reasons. 😉
Not a cheap shot at all. If you're actually seeking transparency, you should welcome reporters in the room.
I'm still waiting to hear about how the dem's managed to clean up the swamp of corruption that it was when Repubs had both houses. We haven't heard a peep about that since they took over. You really think we'll get more transparency? Their idea of transparency is pretty much mis-direction.
I think this is actually a pretty transparent administration.
I mean, isn't it perfectly obvious that they are shovelling graft out the door as fast as they can, and have no interest in anything beyond re-election? Its not like they are trying to hide it or anything.
