She's the cute face of the post-communism Russian state. Putin in a little black dress.

    1. Blight Engine   14 years ago

Really? You saw that Czech brunette squirming all over the screen and that's your comment?

      1. albo   14 years ago

Didn't watch that one. Talking about Alyona, the hostess.

        1. Maxxx   14 years ago

What's the meaning of that symbol on her necklace?

  2. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

"We had a Tea Partier on the show and I kept trying to ask him, "Well, you know, don't you line up here in terms of values?' and he only wanted to talk about how classless and dirty these people are."

Yeah, ask the majority of Occupiers what they think of the Tea Party. No doubt you will hear only solidarity for their common ground against corporatism. I'm sure the blind hatred is one-sided.

  3. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

Oh, and top video, Welch calls Alyona out on her partisanship. 5:20 mark. Awesome.

    1. Calling out social engineering   14 years ago

Is restricting people's free movement to forage and hunt about plain and forest a social engineering program that libertarians support?

      I'm calling you out!

      Is that awesome?

      1. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

        I suppose I deserved that.

        1. Joe M   14 years ago

          PWND

      2. Blight Engine   14 years ago

If I want to do as I please in the wild, I can damn well buy some wild acreage.

Would he still not want property rights once some drunk teenagers decided to build a bonfire out of the shelter he'd busted his butt building against the cold January nights? Or would it be no big deal because it was never his anyway?

  4. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

7:40, Welch bites the hand that feeds him. It was such a drink! moment that it should have saved for the Happy Hour segment.

  5. Joe M   14 years ago

You guys should really post transcripts for the video impaired among us.

  6. Fist of Etiquette   14 years ago

Bottom video, skip ahead to 7:40. You're welcome.

    1. Joe M   14 years ago

FoE, doing God's work in some of the toughest blogs in America.

  7. Colin   14 years ago

I didn't watch the second video, but I can say for certainty that, during all my years in Prague, Czech banks gave me anything but orgasms.

    1. Platypus   14 years ago

You were in the wrong line.
Yes, I'd like to speak to the.. uh.. "Moan Officer"...

      wakka-chakka-wakka-chakka

  8. Pubic Picasso   14 years ago

I find these videos extremely easy to masturbate to, except for the parts with Matt Welch.

    1. Almanian   14 years ago

See, this is why I visit H&R, right here

  9. BakedPenguin   14 years ago

So I guess Reason and RT got over their mini-feud about Syria.

    1. SugarFree   14 years ago

They are totes besties again! Yay!

  10. James Anderson Merritt   14 years ago

If the bank gives too MANY orgasms, is that a Czech that the body can't cash?

    1. Almanian   14 years ago

      Oh, cum on...

  11. BoscoH   14 years ago

Matt, that reflective table makes your tie look very long.

  12. Cytotoxic   14 years ago

It would be nice if libertarians stopped patronizing state propaganda outlets like Russia Today and Press TV with their business. Kind of makes a total hash out of your pro-freedom bona fides.

  13. Atanarjuat   14 years ago

Kinda seems like Alyona needs to get laid at the end there. Maybe she's one of those women who ends up alone because guys are too intimidated by her looks.

  14. Pakhan Mark   14 years ago

Is good show, yes? Was problem earlier but we send to Gulag.

  15. Joe M   14 years ago

Matt, you lived in the Czech Republic? The Friends of Beer sounds like it needs an American branch.
