Reason Writers Around the Internet: Katherine Mangu-Ward Talks Debt, Gays, and Glibertarians at Bloggingheads
The American Prospect's Adam Serwer and Reason Senior Editor Katherine Mangu-Ward blather on about the debt ceiling, talk about the abusive relationship between libertarians and Republicans, and give Obama credit for being good on gay issues (and little else).

Katherine Mongo Ward would have been a much cooler pen name.
"Mongo only pawn in game of life."
Let her be deemed Katherine Mongo Ward Cleaver and be done with it.
Katherine Montgomery Ward is classier. And more in-line with being a rapacious capitalism robber baron libertarian madwoman.
You don't get classier than Ward Fucking Cleaver.
This is why they call us glibertarians.
I'm feeling guilty, as this could be read as mocking KMW, which I'm not doing.
So yes, glibertarian is a fair cop.
Katherine Man-God Warden?
Jesus. I hope she's read enough of our inanity by now that she doesn't take it personally.
We kid because we dare.
I think they all know the difference between affectionate teasing and the savaging we give people we don't like. We may be monsters, but at least we're their monsters, so to speak.
It's not like we're calling attention to her bizarrely shaped nose.
Hey now!
She has a nose? All I can see is the other guy's enormous fivehead.
He looks like the evil guy from the Alvin & the Chipmunks movies, which, sadly, my daughter likes to watch over and over and over again. Which even more sadly means I've seen in bits and pieces over and over and over again.
He's wearing women's eyeglasses.
There is really no such thing as a "Libertarian." Libertarian government is government by the Pinkertons. There won't be small government under Libertarians. Under Libertarians, there will just be "Big Government" in the service of strikebreakers, payday lenders, gated-community moguls, and casino conglomerates. Everybody has an agenda, even so-called "Libertarians," and an agenda requires power, and the state is the essence of power. The state will never die, never whither. Especially not under Libertarians.

Only barely, NutraSweet. Ron can barely come into the kennel any more without getting attacked, for instance.
We're a crack cadre of trained glibertarians that will be unleashed upon the world when Nick deems the time ripe.
Don't get me started on that leather fetish asshole...
Because who doesn't loike leather up the ass?
Ron has his god, science, to protect him.

There are some who say that I may have at some point fucked some sheep.

True story. Before she was adopted, she went by Katherine Mangu-Ward of the Court.
Katherine Monkey-Ward then? For historical accuracy.
Welcome to the Monkey-Ward House
Oh, crap, I missed that one. And on Monkey Tuesday no less. The Urkobold is going to dock my taint again.
Could be worse, He could perform ablation on it.
You know, I made jokes about scrotum ablation in that thread yesterday without actually, you know, knowing what the term actually means. Do I want to know? I'm thinking no.
No, you don't. It's where they remove the scrotum on neutered animals, a step usually only taken after complications set in from the removal of the testicles, typically infection.
I oppose this procedure on humanitarian grounds.

I didn't ask yesterday because I was afraid to find out it was something real. And, lo, it is. My wife refers to me as the bastard of useless knowledge, whereas you seem to have specialized in the fetishistic and disturbing. Well done, SF.

Katherine Psycho-Ward is modestly intimidating.
Nice retro-office phone, hipster doofus. Rotary dial?
I ran across a video where a guy took an old 300-baud modem and used it to hook up to the Internet. It took like a minute to load the Wikipedia home page--in a text-based browser.
The modem, being from the 60s, used an old acoustic coupler, so the guy had to go find an old phone just to get started. The modern serial cables didn't serve up enough juice, either, so he had to deal with that problem as well.
Okay, here's the video.

Wonder why Katherine The Great Mongo Ward isn't talking with that red-headed tubbo that was on the other day?
Can't remember her name, but she was all pissed off at men about something or other.
Katherine The Great Mongo Ward
Simple and to the point.
Dude, just Mongo. Simplest and bestest.
Strunk & White again?
How dare you question me! I pull the strings and you dance, ProL!
Okay, what's that from? I need remediation.
Ask Warty.
Well, Warty?
Katherine Mangu-Warty?
Mongo Warty? Or is that redundant?

We are truly the swine before which Reason casts it's pearls.
I say drop the ban hammer (Katherine Mj?lnir-Glyph-of-Warding) on this entire thread and start over.
Good On gay issues? WTF? He could have signed an executive order, and not had the justice department contest DADT.
Fiscally moderate? WTF!!!
Right, like when he was in favor of the Defense of Marriage act before he was against it because he was in favor of traditional marriage before he was against it before....
Being good on an issue seems NOT to mean being consistent about it anymore... Or am I missing something, Kathy?
Damn, OM, we almost made it through an entire thread with >50 posts, without a single one on topic.
Almost the perfect thread. Almost.
LLMAO! OMFG, THAT's Adam Serwer?! What a fucking whorecunt.
Fucking A, Adam's face look like my balls (or the Iraqi desert with liberal sprinkling of WMD locations).
prove either
Katherine Mangu World Ward II
27 comments from useless males with their idiotic comments. WITFP for any woman to have libertarian philosophy?
Shut up, rectal, and go make us some sammiches.
Male societies have no art.
lol
Republicans set up a situation to make the president look bad
I believe the voters did that.
Divided government rocks!!!
Obama is a moderate
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHahahahahahahahahah
*wipes tear from cheek
Boner can hardly get a budget past his 80 or so tea pirates in the house.
If ANYONE is a moderate it would be Boner.
KMW's best line "And yet, that that winkiness .... is only true about the gay stuff."
