Reason columnist and Mercatus Center economist Veronique de Rugy will be on John Stossel's eponymous Fox Business show, talking about "the biggest rip-off": entitlement spending. Also featuring Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) and demographer Joel Kotkin, both of whom have appeared in Reason.tv videos.

If you think Madoff ran a huge scam, Amway has ripped off millions of people for several decades, to the tune of 10s of billions of dollars.

I once went to an Amway “spinning circles” meeting, under false pretenses by the person who invited me, and left way early.

If you can’t tell Amway is a scam after attending one of those meetings, you deserve to get ripped off.

I just found my VHS copy of a John Stossel special (20/20, 60 minutes, PBS, or something like that)I recorded off-air in the 80’s. He was in Russia exploring communist life vs. capitalist life. It was interesting then and even better now. I want to put it online as a torrent file. Would that be illegal as a U.S. citizen? Would probably put it on thepiratebay.org.
