The Macchiato Militant
In Chicago covering yesterday's primary, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy runs into former Weather Underground leader and anti-capitalist/anti-globalization jackass Bill Ayers and asks him how he thinks the president is faring after his first year in office. The (boring) interview is here. But it is worth checking out just to see erstwhile revolutionaries Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn ("Offing those rich pigs with their own forks and knives, and then eating a meal in the same room, far out! The Weathermen dig Charles Manson!"), haters of sterile corporations and their bourgeois conformist customers, trudging towards their Hyde Park brownstone carrying a tray of Starbucks:
Capitalism 1; Stupid hippies 0.
A few years back, I wrote about the history of big box panics and anti-Starbucks hysteria.

What is the logo on Ayers' sweatpants?
Ayers has an Illinois logo on his sweats. Dohrn has an Adidas logo on her jacket too I think.
All Day I Dream About Socialism
Not pictured: PINK scrawled across Bernie's sweet, sweet can.
I can see how you might think it says Illinois. It really says LINOLUEM U -- it goes down one side of his leg and up the other.
LOL
We should all have a great deal of sympathy for Bernadine Dohrn; she has to let Bill Ayers put is tiny cock in her mouth.
That's freaking hilarious!
Ayers is a douche, but I was sympathetic to his statement that the president can't do everything. It's nice to hear someone in this day and age who doesn't assume the president can lift mountains and change the rotation of the sun. Most people really do think he sits in his office with a bunch of levers actively controlling everything in our country.
"It's nice to hear someone in this day and age who doesn't assume the president can lift mountains and change the rotation of the sun."
Now if only Obama Jr. knew this...
It's the friggin' media. They do the same thing with corporate CEOs. "Ooh, it's a more interesting narrative to equate the country/corporation with its leader. And so sexy, too!"
Of course, reality is something altogether different.
It doesn't help that he claimed to do just that during the campaign. I don't feel bad for anyone who speachifies about lowering ocean levels and bringing peace to warring nations just by the mere fact that he exists.
Right. It's just that Ayers thinks that we need to help him out by chucking bombs through republicans' windows.

Except liberals tend to only feel that way after around a year of a liberal president being in office. See the connection?
Campaign Era Obama: He can do everything
Real Life Obama: Quit picking on him, he can't do everything.
This isn't a defense of "the office of the presidency", it's a defense of Obama specifically.
And people STILL defend Ayers. Simply mind-boggling.
Hey, at least its Fair Trade coffee...
Right?
Right?
"Fair Trade coffee"
What a fuckin' laugh. Thanks, Dello!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
There is a book written about the FBI informant who infiltrated the Weatherman. They made no bones about their desire to kill upwards of 25 million Americans ho had the wrong political conscience. Had they ever had the opportunity, Ayers and company would have been no different than the Khmer Rouge. They should both still be rotting in prison. Incompetance doesn't excuse bad intent.
+1 for speaking the plain truth.
+3
Speaking of sweet irony, I caught a minute of last night's Caribbean World Series on MLB Network. Instead of their names on the back of their jerseys, the Venezuela players had Coca-Cola in giant script above their uniform number.
I try not to think such thoughts, but some people, well, you just hope they die of colon cancer.
Can you get perineum cancer?
The old taint on the taint.
Yeah, you can get it, but most people don't leave theirs out in the sun that long.
Taintectomy?
Ouch.
Don't forget that Ayers is another arrogant child of privilege. His father was Chairman of Commonwealth Edison. You hate Daddy's money so much give it me, ya prick, and go get a job like the proles.
Emperor Ayers: Your work here is done, my president! Go to the drive-thru and await my order!
I bet she wears a diamond that cost a Zairean kid his foot as well.
Funny you should mention jewelery, she and her hubby have rings presented to them by the North Vietnamese made from downed US Aircraft.
Is "Illinois" UIUC (the one w/ the racist Indian mascot) or UIC?
racist Indian mascot
NATIVE AMERICAN, YOU RACIST FUCK!!!!
Starbucks is a shining example of corporatism (fascism) not capitalism. The enterprise would not exist as we know it were it not for the tremendous number of Govbucks floating around. Their growth has a very interesting correlation to the expansion of household and national debt.
Err, your theory might explain why a cup of Starbucks coffee costs $4 instead of 25 cents. It doesn't explain away their great success at selling a whole bunch of people coffee, coffee-flavored milk shakes, pastries, coffee paraphernalia, and teddy bears.
Correlation =/= causality. Troll fail.
And his description of corporatism doesn't square with the description given by fascists.
Starbucks is a shining example of corporatism (fascism) not capitalism.
Which part of Starbucks building and hiring where the people and the money are troubles you?
Don't you understand? They take Visa. They only exist becase of our household and government debt. It is fascism. Or something like that.
They brought AIDS to our company picnic!
Well, they were just trying to help everyone lose weight.
+6.02E23
+1 mole of win. I like it.
Reads better as 6.023 by 10 to the 23 though. 🙂
Don't have an HP scientific calculator, do you db?
I was too poor growing up! Nah, what I meant was that when you read it out loud (I use the E convention in writing too) it sounds better as 6.023 by 10 to the 23. I should've been more precise.
Hey, that's my joke...
In Cambridge, MA real leftists never ever go to Starbucks and don't wear clothes with university logos. Ayers sold out to the Man long ago. Hell, he probably shops at Whole Foods!
Don't they both have tenured chairs at a University?
As does every company that's grown in the last 40 years. Of course, you'd have to have a pretty liberal (er, patriotic) definition of "interesting."
Awesome.

Bill Ayers is a Communist and has ties to 8 people in the White House. See facts here:

Only eight? That's surprising.

Life just like shoes at our feet. Only wear comfortable, it can help to move forward for you. Believe me, if you want to achieve something in life, you need a pair of good shoes.
bestpriceforsales powershot s90 I was very excited when I received this camera...well my excitement was short lived. I may have gotten a lemon because the pictures taken with my canon sd990 was a lot clearer, sharper and cleaner.
