Where are the Bolsheviks when you need them?
I wish it was called "capo" instead.
What was the first instance of an American issue czar? (Federal level)
And the danegeld is paid.
For now.
My reading of Russian history leads me to conclude one would be sufficient to outnumber the czars in heaven.
Where are the Bolsheviks when you need them?
"Drug Czar Toppled By Drug Bolsheviks"
(OK, so it's from 2007.)
You're gonna be czarry!
We have some difficulties in our relations with Russia. We need a czar to coordinate our diplomatic efforts with Russia. We need a Russian czar.

[Spit-take]
There's a "God Czar"?
I assume he regulates God, and God's salary.
How about a Ta-czar?
One who would keep tabs on the police use of "non-lethal" electrical weapons.
It's an American thing. We can't go around calling our heads of these departments "Ministers". That'd sound like we had religious leaders running our government and we can't have that. Besides, "Czar" sounds more flashy than "Director".
