Awesome. But what about gorilla masking?

  2. P Brooks   16 years ago

It's too bad the "conservative" movement is such a complete joke.

    Episiarch | March 2, 2009, 10:46am | #

    Racist!!!

  4. John   16 years ago

The problem with a conservative protest movement is that conservatives have jobs and lives. It is like that old joke about how they were going to have a "million Jew" march on Washington the weekend after the Million Man March. It didn't work because everyone had to work.

  5. Episiarch   16 years ago

    Racist!!!

    Well NOW it is, Al!

  6. Warty   16 years ago

Let's stop the Democrats with a lemon party! Who's with me?

  7. Episiarch   16 years ago

How about a rainbow party instead, Warty?

  8. ?   16 years ago

    *snicker*

Shot of the week/month/year? You are too easily amused.

  9. Jeff P   16 years ago

Actually, I'd prefer they tea-bag me first. I can always feign sleep afterward.

That young man's eagerness to get on his back and accept a pair intrigues me. He will go far in politics.

  10. EJM   16 years ago

They couldn't afford to have "the" in all caps, as well?

P.S.: Even though I can't make all of it out, the sign on the left has to be funnier; after all, it mentions ACORN.

  11. the innominate one   16 years ago

John - the picture puts the lie to your claim

  12. MNG   16 years ago

I always have to wonder with these kinds of conservative, how do they mix with the religious ones? I assume talking about Tea-bagging at Pat Robertson's Regent University social mixers is probably frowned upon...

I know lots of folks like this, who will drink like mad at bars and fuck anyone who will go home with them, but then turn around and support conservative christian stances as part of their "conservatism." WTF is that?

  13. val   16 years ago

John - the picture puts the lie to your claim

I see a retiree and some kids...
    Just saying.

  14. SugarFree   16 years ago

I think it would be better as "Tea PARTY the Liberal Dems, before they Tea BAG you." Don't these protests have editors?

  15. Episiarch   16 years ago

I know lots of folks like this, who will drink like mad at bars and fuck anyone who will go home with them, but then turn around and support conservative christian stances as part of their "conservatism." WTF is that?

    Human nature?

I think it would be better as "Tea PARTY the Liberal Dems, before they Tea BAG you." Don't these protests have editors?

    Freudian slip.

  16. Warty   16 years ago

Last time I made a rainbow party joke, Epi, I got scolded for driving chicks away from libertarianism or something. Beware.

  17. Jeff P   16 years ago

Could alt sex practices become the new political mataphor trope? Will we see "Federal Reserve Dry-Fists Middle Class" and "Local Buisnesses Nipple-Clamped" headlines in our future?

  18. EJM   16 years ago

By the way, in other Weigel news...

"Tom Tancredo: Send Grover Norquist to Jail!"

(link [indirectly] via Right Wing Watch)

  19. P Brooks   16 years ago

Last time I made a rainbow party joke, Epi, I got scolded for driving chicks away from libertarianism or something. Beware.

Well, that's better than being accused of wanting to have sex with thirteen year olds, I suppose.

  20. John   16 years ago

"That young man's eagerness to get on his back and accept a pair intrigues me. He will go far in politics."

No he is saying the opposite, he wants to do the sticking in them, not let them do it to him.

  21. dhex   16 years ago

it's not gay if you don't make eye contact, after all.

  22. Warren   16 years ago

The problem with a conservative protest movement is that conservatives have jobs and lives.

I think you're a bit off the mark there John.
The problem with a conservative protest movement, is that conservatives are two-faced, scum-sucking, douche-bags, that were all too happy when it was the Republicans dry fisting us up the ass.

  23. domoarrigato   16 years ago

I know lots of folks like this, who will drink like mad at bars and fuck anyone who will go home with them

not that there's anything wrong with that.

  24. P Brooks   16 years ago

Ton Tancredo, Douche Extraodinaire, thinks Grover Norquist (also, oddly enough, a Douche Extraodinaire) should be in jail.

    Deathmatch!

  25. Jeff P   16 years ago

John: Hmmm, I thought whoever performs the act gets the verb.

Still, striking a blow against the forces of darkness by easing your testicles into their mouth is a unique approach.

  26. affenkopf   16 years ago

Malkin, Joe the Plumber and Palin supporters? What does it say about the protest that the Paulian goldbugs seemed like the sanest protestors?

  27. Warty   16 years ago

It's not gay if you beat them up afterwards, dudes.

  28. P Brooks   16 years ago

    Ton, Tom; whoever.

  29. John   16 years ago

"I think you're a bit off the mark there John.
The problem with a conservative protest movement, is that conservatives are two-faced, scum-sucking, douche-bags, that were all too happy when it was the Republicans dry fisting us up the ass."

As opposed to the scum sucking douchbags who ran around screaming stop this illegal war for 8 years and now don't seem to have a problem with stayin in Iraq for three more years and sending thousands more to Afghanistan and attacks on Pakistan as well.

And all those liberals who were so outraged by 500 billion deficits under Bush but now are so happy to see trillion dollar ones under Obama.

Come on Warren, tell me what is it about black cock up your ass that feels so much better now? Douchebag

  30. MNG   16 years ago

    "Human nature?"

Yeah, but man, at some point one would think the cognitive dissonance of agreeing with "love waits for marriage," "drunkeness is a sin", etc., but acting like that all the time would cause a little reflection and introspection prompting either a moderating of the views or the actions which daily conflict with it...

  31. Episiarch   16 years ago

It's not gay if you beat them up afterwards, dudes.

"Let's go watch some gay porn to get our hate back."

Still, striking a blow against the forces of darkness by easing your testicles into their mouth is a unique approach.

Mac: You put your balls in my mouth while I was sleeping?

    Dennis: Yeah, man. Twice.

Mac: That's rape! That is borderline rape!

  32. the innominate one   16 years ago

val - iow, they don't have lives

  33. the innominate one   16 years ago

Warren - John only accepts being anally fisted by white conservatives. You accept it from a black liberal, so there must be something wrong with you. Understand?

  34. T   16 years ago

Yeah, but man, at some point one would think the cognitive dissonance of agreeing with "love waits for marriage," "drunkeness is a sin", etc., but acting like that all the time would cause a little reflection and introspection prompting either a moderating of the views or the actions which daily conflict with it...

Nah. Never underestimate the power of a human being to lie to itself. People can keep up cognitive dissonance for years. Or they just rationalize their poor behavior because they're somehow different or special. I get to listen to my sister (4 DWIs) complain about my mother being a substance abusing psycho alcoholic. The connection never quite seems to click...

  35. P Brooks   16 years ago

    John-

We all know how much you miss Joe, but get over it.

  36. SugarFree   16 years ago

Ton Tancredo, Douche Extraodinaire, thinks Grover Norquist (also, oddly enough, a Douche Extraodinaire) should be in jail.

Two douches enter, one puddle leaves.

  37. Nick channeling a Christian Co   16 years ago

    MNG,

Do as I say, not as I do...for your own good.

  38. gaijin   16 years ago

The kid with the sign prolly just plays Halo.

  39. the innominate one   16 years ago

I don't want the democrats to tea bag me, I want them to snowball me.

  40. SugarFree   16 years ago

    "He requests this?!?"

  41. the innominate one   16 years ago

for the benefit of Fr Bunny:

yes, you should be upset. yes, that's another Kevin Smith movie reference.

    :p

  42. dhex   16 years ago

"As opposed to the scum sucking douchbags who ran around screaming stop this illegal war for 8 years and now don't seem to have a problem with stayin in Iraq for three more years and sending thousands more to Afghanistan and attacks on Pakistan as well."

no, no, no...it's that you're all horrible, horrible boot-licking toadies.

  43. T   16 years ago

    horrible, horrible boot-licking toadies

But not not toad-lickers, because that's completely beyond the pale.

  44. dhex   16 years ago

i figure they're already psychedelicized enough as it is, no reason to throw some bufo in there.

  45. Ska   16 years ago

Tea bag Barney Frank at your own peril.

The kid with the sign prolly just plays Halo.
He heard the [LibDem] clan was a bunch of glitchers.

  46. Jim Treacher   16 years ago

The problem with a conservative protest movement, is that conservatives are two-faced, scum-sucking, douche-bags, that were all too happy when it was the Republicans dry fisting us up the ass.

Don't forget that they're vulgar, hostile, and prone to sweeping generalizations.

  47. Translation service   16 years ago

The sign basically says: "Fuck them, before they fuck you."

I think of it as a call to arms. The government wants to use force? They may think they have a monopoly on that, but they are wrong.

  48. Warren   16 years ago

Hey, I'll squeal when I'm being violated, no matter if it's by a blue or red dick.

I'm just saying, conservative have exactly ZERO credibility bitching about liberals.

  49. BDB   16 years ago

Where are the paper mache puppets?

This will be about as effective as ANSWER was against Bush, and less entertaining.

  50. BDB   16 years ago

The thought of either party being fiscally conservative is downright hilarious and sad at the same time.

  51. Dick Cheney   16 years ago

    John--

    Reagan proved deficits don't matter!

  52. Bruce Majors   16 years ago

Apparently these protests were threatening enough that Playboy.com posted a hatchet job claiming it was all corporate executives behind it. Since it was started by JP Freire and then publicized by me and others working as volunteers on yahoo, FaceBook etc for many hours a day all last week, I knew this was a lie, and posted a comment calling the Playboy authors liars.

Currently the link to their story seems to be dead.

But a "report" on it is here: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Tea_Party_protests_sees_as_corporate_0301.html.

Odumba supporters and other statists certainly seem to find it threatening enough to lie about.

Or perhaps lying is just second nature for them.

  53. ClubMedSux   16 years ago

Epi, I know I'm a little late, but...

Awesome. But what about gorilla masking?

I'm sticking with the tea-bagging. What if I dip my nuts in ink or something and then put it in his mouth-- that make you happy?

  54. BDB   16 years ago

A guy who has never posted here before decides just randomly to post a link that swears the whole thing wasn't spontaneous?

    Uh, ok. Yeah.

  55. Ska   16 years ago

Awesome. But what about gorilla masking?

    I'm sticking with the tea-bagging.

How about we give each of them a jelly doughnut and call it a day?

  56. Mo   16 years ago

    John,
I thought liberals were elitists. Are they now unemployed elitists? That's quite a core constituency, the Party of George Costanza. And I've never heard the "million Jew march" joke, ever before. When I googled it, I got a bunch of stories on Jews marching to commemorate Auschwitz last year. Doesn't an old joke have to be both old, rather than made up on the fly, and funny?

  57. jerry lewis   16 years ago

Old jokes have to be funny now, too?

  58. SIV   16 years ago

I always have to wonder with these kinds of conservative, how do they mix with the religious ones?

A mutual interest in limited government and individual liberty.

  59. Terry Schiavo   16 years ago

Tell 'em how it is, SIV!

  60. SIV   16 years ago

Who killed you Terry? Oh yeah, a state named Florida.

  61. the innominate one   16 years ago

You mean the kind of limited government where pornography is outlawed?

  62. Mike M.   16 years ago

A bag of tea is about all we're going to have left to our names pretty soon the way things are going.

  63. Mo   16 years ago

Who killed you Terry? Oh yeah, a state named Florida.

The state didn't do anything. Her husband was her legal guardian and decided that a life as a vegetable was unnecessarily cruel. That's the way medical care at the end goes. You should have a living will to prevent stupid ass fights like the one between her parents and him. The autopsy of her brain showed signs consistent with PVS. The only people that involved the state were the Schindlers (who also succeeded at tarnishing a good man's reputation).

This is why all of my family members have been explicitly told, if I'm a vegetable, pump me so full of morp[hine, it would stop an elephant's heart.

  64. MlR   16 years ago

"As opposed to the scum sucking douchbags who ran around screaming stop this illegal war for 8 years and now don't seem to have a problem with stayin in Iraq for three more years and sending thousands more to Afghanistan and attacks on Pakistan as well.

And all those liberals who were so outraged by 500 billion deficits under Bush but now are so happy to see trillion dollar ones under Obama.

Come on Warren, tell me what is it about black cock up your ass that feels so much better now? Douchebag"

    Now that's fucking funny.

    Onward to Islamabad!

  65. Mole   16 years ago

I think it is safe to say that currently in this country we are in a situation where the government is our enemy. It does not matter if you are a social liberal or social conservative, we are all being fucked in the ass by a government that has run away from it's master..the people. Obama has shrewdly used our social differences to get into office and start the trip to socialism in overdrive. Until the people of this country sit up and realize that we don't owe other countries anything, we don't owe illegal aliens anything, and we don't owe people too lazy to work a free ride, we will continue to do nothing more than work our lives away to give others the fruits of our labor.
