Barack Obama meets Spider-Man:

Just a few years ago, Spidey was spotted palling around with Donald Rumsfeld. Opportunist!

Man, did some Republican storm trooper cave in Spiderman's face with a rifle butt? 🙂

  2. MNG   17 years ago

Did anyone read the Ultimate X-men in which Bush is stripped naked by Magneto?

  3. J. Jonah Jameson   17 years ago

I knew it! That wall-crawling little creep is just a waffling suck up! Why else would he wear a costume thats both red and blue? That way he can get in good no matter who wins!

Next he'll probably want on the S.H.I.E.L.D. payroll!

  4. lunchstealer   17 years ago

Did anyone read the Ultimate X-men in which Bush is stripped naked by Magneto?

Wait, was that an X-Men, or was that just an Ian McKellen party tape?

  5. ed   17 years ago

He looks more like G.I. Joe's buddy, G.I. Nate.

  6. MNG   17 years ago

From the pic I assumed it was Sam Wilson.

  7. SugarFree   17 years ago

Obama looks like black Harry Osborn. You laugh now, but when he starts throwing pumpkin bombs at the Inauguration I don't want to hear any whining.

  8. joe   17 years ago

    Can he swing
    From a web
    Yes he can
    He's the Prez
    Look out
    Here comes Obama-man.

    tarran,

Apparently, the stormtrooper caved in his ears, too.

  9. lunchstealer   17 years ago

No offense intended, Sir Ian. I know you've got better taste than that.

  10. Episiarch   17 years ago

joe, I must give you kudos for referencing the late 70's Spiderman TV show.

That aside, it disappoints me that the joking and irreverent Spiderman is sucking up to authority figures. With great power comes great reprehensibility.

  11. FrBunny   17 years ago

Did anyone read the Ultimate X-men in which Bush is stripped naked by Magneto?

Yes! Even as an anti-fan of Bush, that scene made me uncomfortable.

  12. Kyle Jordan   17 years ago

DC has it more correct. Darkseid has been reborn in his new 5th World Incarnation is is destroying the whole of existence with his fall after winning the war in Heaven. Plus, he killed Batman. And apparently, Batman killed him.

    We need Batman.

  13. pac   17 years ago

I hope steve ditko isn't alive to see this, but hasn't Spidey's book been through enough shit these past couple of years. Man, if i didn't buy comics for my dad, i wouldn't even have spiderman in my pull.

  14. Pac   17 years ago

DC has it more correct. Darkseid has been reborn in his new 5th World Incarnation is is destroying the whole of existence with his fall after winning the war in Heaven. Plus, he killed Batman. And apparently, Batman killed him.

THanks man, i haven't read it yet, thanks a lot.

    (shakes fist)

  15. Kyle Jordan   17 years ago

Relax. There's as much chance of Bruce Wayne staying dead as there is a Libertarian government in the USA. (That made me sad typing that.)

He'll be back I'm guessing something in 2010. But, I do owe you and others an apology for spoiling it without giving warning.

I'm sorry. Get the bood anyway and do it soon. The last page was shocking. And I full well expected what was going to happen too.

  16. P Brooks   17 years ago

    Spiderman- just another star-fucker.

  17. PAc   17 years ago

It's cool man, i was just messing. I knew he was crooking it at some point in his own book or FC. although, nightwing as batman angst seems like such a 90s retread.

  18. bruce   17 years ago

spidey's brainbox to jaw size ratio makes him look like a neanderthal in that pic.

  19. Pro Libertate   17 years ago

I'm trying to remember the Spidey Man song from The Electric Company. Something like "Spidey Man, where are you going; Spidey Man, nobody knows who you are." I like to think that Morgan Freeman was Spidey Man.

  20. Episiarch   17 years ago

    ProL:

Spiderman/where are you comin' from, Spiderman/nobody knows who you are...

Danny Seagren was Spiderman. Morgan Freeman was Easy Reader.

  21. Mister DNA   17 years ago

PL, I think those are the correct lyrics. Perhaps Fargo North, Decoder will show up and give you a confirmation.

  22. Pro Libertate   17 years ago

Ah, thank you Episiarch. I prefer to retain the illusion that Oscar? winner Morgan Freeman was Spidey Man, however.

  23. Ska   17 years ago

C'mon Spidey, you don't have to give him the fist pound just because he's black.

  24. Pain   17 years ago

I hope steve ditko isn't alive to see this, but hasn't Spidey's book been through enough shit these past couple of years. Man, if i didn't buy comics for my dad, i wouldn't even have spiderman in my pull.

Ditko is probably rolling in his grave.

Is he fist pounding Spidey? Is that suppose to show he's hip?

  25. Kolohe   17 years ago

So Marvel has introduced a character who was raised by an older couple from Kansas because his biological parents couldn't take care of him. They're clearly stealing from DC's intellectual property; I expect a lawsuit to be filed shortly.

  26.   17 years ago

    I didn't know spidey was a terrorist.

  27. Gruffbear   17 years ago

    Two attention whores. Feh.

  28. Franklin Harris   17 years ago

Ditko is probably rolling in his grave.

    He's not dead.
