Does that mean I should vote for Ralph Nader because "John McCain sure ain't a libertarian"? I could only get the first 30 seconds of this video, but I am on Internet Explorer (not of my own free will).

You're right. But, IMO, I would enjoy hoisting a few with good ole J.D. He strikes me as a guy who has hoisted a few in his day and ain't afraid of having fun.
