Obama on McCain
Obama: "Now, I don't believe that Sen. McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of Americans. I just think he doesn't know."
Obama, a few minutes later: "But what I will not do is suggest that the senator takes his positions for political purposes."
To review: Obama will not accuse McCain of being a politician, he'll just accuse him of being dumb and unobservant.

McCain can't be any more dangerous to liberty than Obama.

"McCain can't be any more dangerous to liberty than Obama."
Is that a non sequitur?
How you figure?

Sounds about right to me.
McCain can't be any more dangerous to liberty than Obama.
Unless you're a medical marijuana grower or a civilian living in Iran (aka "potential collateral damage").

In McCain's defense, it's worked pretty well for the current president (or at least the current president probably thinks it has).

Was there supposed to be a punchline? You ended with the straight stuff.
I don't really want the president to know what's going on in my daily life. That's why (unlike Obama in practice) I oppose warrantless wiretapping.
