Well, they say that he is "better on NAFTA" and is the only one to have consistently opposed it. Brr.
The Teamsters are highly worried about the Bush Administration finally implementing NAFTA's rules about letting Mexican trucks operate on US highways, and really want Obama to follow through on his pledge to open back up NAFTA and find a way to block it.
He's no Zombie Reagan.
He's also promised to eliminate the ability of employers to "permanently replace" striking workers, and other union friendly things (effectuated through his control of the NRLB).
And lets not forget the elimination of secret balloting in union organizing campaigns.
After all, nothing says "change" like Jimmy Hoffa Jr.
Unions for protectionism? Now I've seen everything!
