There's No Cause to Celebrate Here
Greg Jung, principal of Texas's Dripping Springs High School, refused to release the diplomas for the entire 2007 graduating class. Jung was upset that some of the more than 200 graduates had cheered and bounced a beach ball over their heads during the graduation ceremony. Jung said he and staff are reviewing tapes of the event and will release the diplomas of those students who didn't cheer during their graduation ceremony. The others will be called to the office with their parents, and Jung says those students may have to perform community service before getting their diplomas.
