Chodorov, Back in Step
Frank Chodorov, the wonderful libertarian journalist and editor most active in the 1940s and '50s, has had his book Out of Step: The Autobiography of An Individualist put online in full text, free online form (.pdf of the 1962 Devin-Adair edition) by the Mises Institute. A couple of chapter titles that give the Chodorovian flavor: "Don't Buy Government Bonds" and "Taxation is Robbery."
Chodorov is one of the many libertarians whose story is told in my new book Radicals for Capitalism: A Freewheeling History of the Modern American Libertarian Movement. Keep up with news, media, and reviews about it here.

Wait, you wrote a book? Why haven't we seen any mention of it around here?
When Sen. Joe McCarthy was making a big to-do about Reds holding positions in the federal government, Chodorov proposed a simple answer.
He said to get Reds out of government jobs, abolish the government jobs.
I quite enjoyed and recomend Fugitive Essays: Selected Writings of Frank Chodorov
