She tore down Paris on the tail of Thom Paine
But the left wing's broken, the right's insane.
A pretty pink rose.
Completely off topic: Boz Burrell is dead.
Ani DiFranco is definitely one of the coolest musicians on the planet. Even if her protest songs suck, the rest of her work is great.
And Thomas Paine? One of the coolest dead white guys ever. Even if he is dead, the work he did before he was zombified is great.
(Cue Zombie Reagan theme song.)
I always felt that Toby Keith was un-American. And now there is a book to prove it.

There's a household name. Alert me when Mick Ralphs dies, cuz that would put the kibosh on a decent Mott The Hoople reunion.
Ian Hunter hasn't been the same since Ronson died.
Well, that is the first book review in a long time that makes me want to go out and actually read the book. Thanks Nick!

I'm not dead yet.
TPG - Dude, just because they froze you and stuck you in a jar doesn't mean Paine is alive.
It's a well known fact here on Hit and Run that only Thomas Paines' GOITER survives to this day, not the man himself. (Caveat: But that doesn't stop Zombie Paine from showing up - why do you think he moans and groans so much?)
You might as well be claiming that just because they froze Walt Disney's head he's still alive! Heh!
Thomas Paine? That dirty little atheist...
