Former Reason Intern Makes Good

Former Burton Gray Memorial Intern Jeremy Lott has just published his first book, In Defense of Hypocrisy: Picking Sides in the War on Virtue, which Glenn "Instapundit" Reynolds has called, "a perfect read and a necessary corrective for this political season."

Buy it here.

Jeremy has also started a web site to promote himself and the book. That's online here.

He reviewed Peter Schweitzer's Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy for Reason; that's online here.

Thought experiment: Would it help or hurt sales of his book if he were caught in a plagiarism scandal like Kaavya Wiswanathan?

Jeremy cops to being an Opus Dei convert to Roman Catholicism. He maintains that organization is not the source of evil that Dan Brown says it is.
That is proof that Lott is in on the conspiracy.

(Scroll down just past the photo of him with two Cato hotties.)

But seriously folks, despite the frequent plugs for his book, the blog entries are interesting.

  2. I’m sure Mr. Lott would never be caught in a plagiarism scandal. He’s too much a genius as that! Indeed, any accusations of plagiarism would surely be due to other authors trying to usurp Lott’s genius.

Funny how many people named Lott, despite being completely unrelated, are such geniuses!

  3. I ordered the book. I see as of yet there is no Amazon review from readers. I will put one up next week.

    Good idea! Me too!

(This is fun. Too bad the post isn’t about the other Lott, the one I’m making fun of.)
