Rudy Giuliani, You're Makin' Me Hot!
There are only so many ways to ask "do you have a favorable or unfavorable impression of presidential candidate X?", so Quinnipiac University conducted a survey of how "warm" people feel toward certain politicians.
You can choose any number between 0 and 100. The higher the number, the warmer or more favorable you feel toward that person, the lower the number, the colder or less favorable.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was the undisputed winner of the poll, with 63.5 percent of the polled wanting to take him and snuggle up with a nice pot of hot cocoa. The warmest Democrat is - astoundingly! - not Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), but novice Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). Republicans run the top and bottom of the scale, as most people kind of like Giuliani, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, but most think Sen. Bill Frist (R-Tenn.), President Bush and the president's non-Rice cabinet are not at all cuddly.
Tim Cavanaugh reviewed one glowing biography of America's Mayor back in 2005.

Bill Frist would be that slushie that just froze your brain stem on this scale.
"63.5 percent of the polled..."
How does this translate? Did this percentage have him above a warm and cuddly threshold? Or was this his average ranking (and if so, mean, median or mode?)?
And did anyone poll Bush and Rice to see what hot or not ranking they give each other?
You know, I can't stand Giuliani. Does that make me a bad American?
As for Obama, well, let's just call it the Colin Powell syndrome--everyone loves you until they know what you're all about. He doesn't impress me very much, to be honest. I'm not sure why the Democrats are pushing him so hard so early--they have much more impressive candidates out there for the national spotlight.
Did I mention not liking Giuliani? Does that get my name added to a "list" somewhere?
Pam Anderson for president.
Oops, she is Canadian-born. Why is it we seem to retain only the stupid parts of Constitution (such as birthplace requirement for POTUS lest the stupid people pick a furriner, age requirements for office) while clobbering the ones that make sense like the 4th amendment?
