Am I Blowing Your Mind Yet?

A bunch of law profs who maintain blogs have written a spate of scholarly papers on how blogging is affecting legal scholarship—which they're all now linking on their own blogs. Now, I just have to go to law school and this becomes meta enough to create an Escheresque strange loop that destroys the universe in a massive conflagration of paradox.

No, he means a Strange Loop, a concept explored in Douglas Hofstadter’s “G?del, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid.”

A M?bius strip is the simplest example of a strange loop, having only one permutation required to create an apparent paradox – the half twist that forms a one-sided surface.

It will be a loop when judges and legislators link to the blogs. Til then it is just obiter dicta and marginalia so far as legal scholarship is concerned.
