South Park Scientology Saga Staggers On: Chef is Back—Or is He??!
For those, like me, following the twists and turns of Isaac Hayes' Scientology-inspired self-ankling from South Park (and did he jump or was he pushed?), another shoe drops as the South Park boys reveal their plans for the Chef character:
It is not yet clear who is providing Chef's voice, said a spokesman for US TV channel Comedy Central.
……..
A synopsis of the new episode titled The Return of Chef states that the boys notice "something about Chef that seems different. When Chef's strange behaviour starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him."
Probably a fair bet that Chef's change has something to do with engrams and Xenu, but we'll have to wait and see.

They'll probably get Gilbert Gottried to do his voice.
Barry White would be good.
Maybe splice his lines together using creative editing of his previous appearances?
NoStar,
The problem is that Barry White is as dead as Issac Hayes' singing carrer.
My guess is they'll get someone as far away from the original voice of Chef as possible. Maybe Screech from Saved by the Bell.
Why is it that my only true cultural and political heroes in this country are animators? I love these guys and usually agree with their stances on issues other "leaders" flee from.
Parker and Stone for Pres!
WSDave, I am sorry to hear that.
Maybe Chef could join the dark side if James Earl Jones did his voicing. Can you imagine: I'm your father, Stan.
I Cast my vote for Gilbert Gottfried. I was going to say Steven Wright but I know when I'm beaten.
"so a guy walks into a talent agent's office. . ."
My vote: Joan Rivers.
I think it'll be Watermelon Man in reverse and he'll mysteriously turn into a white dude.
Maybe he's not really quitting, and he and the crew are just jerking everyone around.
>Maybe splice his lines together using creative
>editing of his previous appearances?
Woo hoo, I win! *Does the Superior Dance*
NOSTAR gets Bonus Points for his prediction of the Darth Vader send off....
Revenge is so sweet.
"We shouldn't hate Chef. We should hate the fruity little club that scrambled his brains."
Fruity little club. That's so Scientology.
Stormy and NoStar, good calls!
And now it's Carlos!
