Holiday Extravaganza

|

The commenter known variously as Viking Moose and drf informs me that a bunch of Chicago Hit & Run readers will be having a "holiday" party (curse you, War on Christmas!) this Saturday. Here's the details:

Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7pm
Red Lion Pub
2446 N. Lincoln

Got questions? Mr. Moose will be glad to answer them in the comments.

  2. grievances?

Of course, after drinking enough, there should be some.

  3. Of course, after drinking enough, there should be some.

Actually, in this crowd, the grievances is likely to go down as the BAC goes up.

  4. Thoreau:

we’re all frantically trying to master our own body weight in anticipation of the occasion 🙂

  5. Speak for yourself, VM… I’ve got the body weight mastered already. 155 pounds for the 10th year in a row!

Of course, everyone going to the Red Lion should make sure to order a Budweiser. The bartender’ll totally dig that.

  6. awesome!! my favorite pub!! i was pissed i had to miss the last Chicago gathering, but i’m happy to hear the next one is at the Lion. do we have the upstairs or are we just going to hope for some tables together in the downstairs?

  7. If I may put in a request, raise a glass to the Western Reasonoids.

    🙂

Better yet, ask him for a birthday shot.

  9. If I take the train down from M’waukee, which El do I take to get there?

    Kevin

  10. Brown (Ravenswood) or Red (Howard) to Fullerton stop.

go east on fullerton to lincoln (diagonal). turn left, north on fullerton. there’s a mcdonalds on the NW corner of this intersection. Halsted is the other street.

go up lincoln, and the RL will be on yer left.

    see you there!
