Writing columns for the L.A. Times is, like, so over. People at Starbucks read the L.A. Times. But Matt Welch doesn't get it. Maybe he's trying to be retro?

I don't get it.
Perhaps if the LAT refrained from writing a gushy piece about the next "hip neighborhood" it might gentrify a bit slower, hmmmm? (Not that the process could be stopped cold, and not that I'd try to halt it.)
