CPAC Blogging: Merchandising Edition
One of the funkier booths here is Bureaucrash's, where Heather Talley is hawking a variety of ironic T-shirts. Iconic détournement is more frequently seen deployed by the left--folks like Adbusters--but they've got a talent for it. Wonkette has a photo up.

I just read Nick Gillespie's posting Reason Event: Libertarians and Conservatives: Can This Marriage Be Saved? when I ran across this entry.
Wonkette incorrectly characterized Bureaucrash as being "conservative". Also, in a blog comment, Heather informed me that she does not recall the quote which Wonkette attributed to her.
Might Gillespie's question best be answered by Wonkette's mistake? Perhaps conservatives wish to remain wed (for theological reasons, no doubt), while libertarians prefer the freedom of a divorce.
Nick - my vote for D-I-V-O-R-C-E is clear, although I can hear Dolly Parton's voice echoing between my ears right now.
Julian - Good blogging from CPAC. I agree that Shane and the folks at Bureaucrash have talent. But I could not let Wonkette's boo boo remain uncorrected.
