That was insightful. I get the feeling that CPF guy is a tad on the smart side of the normal distribution.
Well the damned Islamic bastards are at it again. Brutally murdered 12 inocent people from Nepal. And on top of it these Islamic bastards mocked the Buddhist religion of these inocents that they murdered.
They relish death, WELL WE SHALL GIVE DEATH TO THEM ! Slather our weapons with pig lard and usher them to hell where they belong. Their barbarity is all the reason to rid the earth of their ilk.

It makes you wonder how far they can go before Iraqis decide they have had enough and turn in the terrorist responsible for the beheadings.
It took France approximately ten years before they sickened of the anarchy and bloodshed of the French Revolution and turned to Napoleon to bring law and order back into the land. Maybe the Iraqi's will do likewise. The Russians have already decided that they would rather have Putin's firm hand rather than a true democracy. It's probably hard for the Iraqis and the Russians to appreciate something they never had.

You mean a secular, expansionist, megalomaniacal tyrant? I wonder if we've got any of those lying around.
Ray D.,
Ten years? 🙂
Not quite. Bonaparte was in de facto control of the country (as head of the military) from 1796 onward; Brumaire merely brought into formality the reality of the situation. And of course 9 Thermidor occurred in 1794.
Good one, Joe.
