A Florida truckstop called Grandma's Kitchen stands up to the law and lets smokers smoke. One of its patrons sums up why in four sharp sentences:

"Everyone needs their own space. I need my space and nonsmokers need theirs," Pownall said. "But [the owners] should have a right to do things like they want. It is their livelihood."
