Despite cleverly changing its name from the Orwellian "Total Information Awareness" to the soothing "Terrorism Information Awareness" and ditching a logo that I can only assume was deliberately designed to freak out conspiracy theorists, TIA may be toast. Wired News reports that the newly released Senate appropriations bill provides no funding for you to be pushed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed, or numbered
