On Wednesday night I went to my first live band show since the Great White tragedy, and I made damn sure to check for the fire exits. To my dismay there were only two, in front and in back. Hell, I assume the place has passed the local safety codes, though.

The plaintiff Ms. Roderiques is including the band and the club's owners in her lawsuit. Now if the authorities can only figure out who was the exact culprit in deciding to go ahead with the pyrotechnics -- of course, the band and the club are desperately pointing fingers at each other.
