Grateful They're Dead…

(Especially John Phillips). That's R. Emmett Tyrell's cover story in the Sept/Oct American Spectator. He rags on poor Papa John and a bunch of other dead rockers while lamenting

"The progressive camp harbors large numbers of individuals who should have been as hostile to Rock & Roll as the next hill-ape preachers and could have been vastly more effective."

If this story is any indication, it looks like the new, Gilder-free Spectator has lost the fun streak that once made it enjoyable to read.
