Are you being videotaped?
Find out by checking the Electronic Frontier Foundation's Surveillance Monitor, online at www.eff.org/Privacy/Surveillance/surveillancemonitor.html. It tracks news about public surveillance around the world. "Although there is a wide variety of opinions regarding the suitability of public surveillance," notes the Web site, "nearly everyone agrees that the public has the right to know when such surveillance is occurring."
Detailed maps of surveillance cameras in New York City are available on the Web site of the Surveillance Camera Players (www.notbored.org/the-scp.html), who protest Big Brother by performing plays in front of public spy cams.
