Covered at Reason 24/7: French Hostage Killed in Mali

Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) have said that they have beheaded French national Philippe Verdon in Mali. A commander of AQIM claimed that Verdon was a French spy and also said that the killing was in response to the French-led intervention in Mali.

    The beheading was for Mali. The spy stuff was probably just because they thought it sounded cool.

    The Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys are doing okay Reason. Leave them alone. A beheading is what these guys would do to Nick Gillepsie if they could get their hands on him.

    Remember, Reason is as bad as France... you guys published the Muhammad Cartoons. Violent Islamists will, in perpetuity, never forget that.
