Since director Karin Hayes premiered her documentary, The Kidnapping of Ingrid Bentancourt, at the 2003 Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, the film has been picked up by HBO and Cinemax.
Hayes returned to Slamdance in 2009, and spoke with Reason.tv's Ted Balaker about Colombian politics and legalizing cocaine.
