Damn, I just realized that some teenager on YouTube might see that and think it's real...
It's amazing how after having Bush as President, Reagan seems less moronic than he used to.
I got yer drug propaganda right here.

I have a similar sound file that's circulated more or less for
the 15 years or so. I remember coming across it back in high
school.
Good times.
Edward,
Yeah, he seems just sort of dazedly stupid, rather than
aggressively ignorant like W.
I saw this in 1993, as the opening attraction for a movie about
Karen Carptenter done with Barbie Dolls.
Tragically, I can remember it clearly.
Anyone else remember that?
Anyone else remember that?
The Karen Carpenter movie? Yeah, it's called Superstar and
it was directed by Todd Haynes, who went on to make Safe,
Velvet Goldmine, and Far from Heaven.
Superstar!
I saw in the old Biograph on M Street.
I think it's a real estate office now.
Sad.
superstar is something else. no wonder it got (threatened/sued??) out of existence.

Reagan wasn't at all. He was an idea guy. He read Hayek and
Reason. Bush doesn't seem like he ever ponders anything
intellectual and interesting.
Ever see the movie "A Fish Named Wanda"? The Kevin Klein character claims he can't be stupid because he reads Nietsche. But Jamie Lee Curtis points out that he doesn't understand Nietsche. Reading by itself isn't everything.
Rick Barton
Reagan wrote all his own speeches til he became president. Very few
presidents in fact have as much of a record of writing. In addition
to his speeches Reagan's work included essays and poetry.
Colors, a Poem by Ronald Reagan
Leprochauns are green
And commies are red
When all's said and done
The best commies are dead.
My mind's not the best
It must be the trees
They're lethal, you know
I forget the rest....
Edward,
That's one of the greatest insults in cinema history. Let's
review:
Otto: Don't call me stupid.
Wanda: Oh, right, to call you stupid would be an
insult to stupid people. I've worn dresses with higher IQs. I've
known sheep that could outwit you, but you think you're an
intellectual don't you, ape?
Otto: Apes don't read philosophy.
Wanda: Yes, they do Otto, they just don't
understand it. Now let me correct you on a couple of things here.
Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not
"every man for himself," and the London Underground is not a
political movement. Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked them up.
Now, you have just assaulted the one man who can keep you out of
jail and make you rich. What are you going to do about it huh? What
would an intellectual do? What would Plato do?
Godfrey,
Yeah, that video is funny but some of the comments on there are
cringe inducing. Oh, well. People get the government they
deserve.
It's amazing how after having Bush as President, Reagan
seems less moronic than he used to.
After GWB, Ernest T. Bass seems less moronic than he used to.
Pro Libertate, Edward,
Afish called Wanda is IMHO the best work the "Queen of Scream" has
ever done.
Geezus, I forgot what a queen of the undead Nancy was - ughuhuhuh[shivers]
Say what you want, Reagan was the right president to confront the crumbling USSR.

It's a good thing it was crumbling.
