Rep. Boehner Working on Immigration Reform 'Principles'

Will pass along outline to GOP colleagues

Speaker John Boehner told colleagues Wednesday morning Republicans are working on a list of "principles" for immigration reform.

The Ohio Republican, speaking in a closed meeting, said that the outline will be distributed to members of the House GOP Conference in the near future. The party's legislative retreat, where the agenda is usually set, is later this month in Cambridge, Md. Boehner's comments were described by several sources in the room.
