John Kerry: Drone Strikes in Pakistan Will Continue
US, Pakistan trying to re-open broad talks suspended two years ago
Pakistan and the United States agreed Thursday to resume broad partnership talks that were suspended two years ago amid wide Pakistani anger over American drone attacks and other perceived slights to Pakistani sovereignty.
Still, Secretary of State John F. Kerry said during a visit here, the drone strikes will continue.
Kerry said he wanted to remind Pakistanis that the terrorists in their midst are the ones who "violate the sovereignty of this country."
