Utah Man May Face Death After Defending Himself from Botched Police Raid
Four officers wounded in a Utah drug raid described a chaotic scene of gunfire, bodies and blood Thursday as they presented testimony against the Ogden man accused in the shootings.
Matthew David Stewart, 38, could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder in the January shootout that killed one officer and wounded five others at his Ogden home.
The agents with a narcotics strike force and a patrolman who was the first to respond to radio calls for help detailed how Stewart methodically shot down members of the team inside the house and the injuries they suffered.

I'm really surprised there aren't more stories like this; if paramilitaries broke down the door to my house they would be shot too, probably before they could announce their "intentions".
