White House Saw Advantage in Osama Film

New internal emails released by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch show the White House and Obama administration's eagerness to cooperate with an upcoming film about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

The administration offered director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal access to high level officials as they were researching "Zero Dark Thirty," a film version of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden — believing the project had more merits than other similar books and magazines.
