On various even-numbered years between 1789 and 1933, Presidential and Congressional terms started. Then Section 1 of the 20th Amendment took effect.
Believe it or not, Abe's one of my favorite POTUS's (others, Adams, Jefferson, Jackson, JFK, Milhouse, Ronaldus Maximus, 45/47, and of course "TR")
What about Washington?
