In his resignation speech Blair stated, "unfortunately I didn't have a chance as a justice to affirm that the unitary executive theory was the intent of our recent constitutional convention by allowing George IV ... er I mean President Washington to throw his political enemies in jail and send federal troops to cleanup the hellholes of Boston, New York, and Philadelphia."
