For a POTUS who was supposed to be a cool dude, he did a lot of uncool things.
I mean he's mentioned in a "Chicago" song for cryin' out loud. Like that's ever gonna happen with Barry Hussein O. (and why doesn't anyone call him "BHO"?? or "Foe-Foe"?? (Afro-Amuricans in the room, explain it to the Melanocyte Challenged)
" (Afro-Amuricans in the room, explain it to the Melanocyte Challenged) "
Why does this ostensibly academic blog attract so many disgusting bigots?
Feel free to address this point whenever you develop some courage, Volokh Conspirators.
"Reverend" (Sarcasm intended) Kirtland (misspelling your fake name on purpose, it's like a Civilized way to Will Smith Be-otch Slap somebody without the hassle)
I Gar-an-damn-tee you your Heroes LBJ, JFK, Harry S (did you know the S didn't stand for anything? you know like how Sleepy Joe doesn't (Oh sorry, he's against Glioblastomas(wait till they discover GBM's are caused by Electric Car Batteries) Truman would have used different, less "Woke" words than I did.
Frank "I don't discriminate. I hate everybody."
Harry Truman
Harry could you please come home
Things are looking bad
I know you would be mad
To see what kind of men
Prevail upon the land you love
America's wondering
How we got here
Harry all we get is lies
We're gettin' safer cars
Rocket ships to mars
From men who'd sell us out
To get themselves a piece of power
We'd love to hear you speak your mind
In plain and simple ways
Call a spade a spade
Like you did back in the day
You would play piano
Each morning walk a mile
Speak of what was going down
Each honesty and style
America's calling
Harry Truman
Harry you know what to do
The world is turnin' round and losin' lots of ground
Oh Harry is there something we can do to save the land we love
Oh woah woah woah
When I was a kid I kept hearing that the Korean War wasn't a "war", but a "police action".
"I think one man is just as good as another so long as he's not a n*gger or a Chinaman. Uncle Will says that the Lord made a White man from dust, a n*gger from mud, then He threw up what was left and it came down a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese and Japs. So do I. It is race prejudice, I guess. But I am strongly of the opinion Negroes ought to be in Africa, Yellow men in Asia and White men in Europe and America." Harry S. Truman (D) MO
I recognize that none of this blog's right-wing fans come here to learn anything, but what the hell . . .:
" Harry S. Truman didn’t start out as a champion of African Americans. In fact, his dramatic transformation from segregationist to civil rights advocate was nothing short of astonishing. "
That article aligns with my belief that education can improve just about anyone, including a Trump fan, a Klan member, a Volokh Conspiracy fan, or a poorly educated, backwater, old-timey white guy like Harry Truman.
Try to improve, clingers.
Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla, Jeezus "Reverend", you're almost as boring as a "Real" Reverend. Are you sure you aren't "Father" Arthur L. Kirtland?? you give off that Pediofile Vibe, even over AlGores Internets...
Frank "Too young for you"
Imagine boasting that one can never learn anything, or get better, like HST did.
Yes, it can be exhausting. But then, some people actually do learn things, and get better. Like HST did. And like others never quite manage...
