A death anniversary certainly calls for a funny comment, but I can’t think of a good joke with a dead man’s photo on my screen.
Thanks for ruining my morning.
He wasn't dead when the photo was taken.
Looks a toss-up.
True story. I gouged a hole in my moustache one time while trimming beard and moustache. It wasn't salvageable and so I shaved it off and I ended up looking like our friend depicted above as I didn't want to shave my beard at the same time.
I got tired of trying to find competent barbers in one place I lived, bought some clippers, cut my hair myself. Did surprisingly well the first time. Second time, I forgot to put the spacer on, cut a bald stripe down the middle like a reverse Mohawk (oooh, I bet that term is cultural appropriation now), thought for a couple of seconds on the need for an undo button in real life, and cut the rest to match.
I belonged to a tabletop gaming group a while back now. One of the crew was a friend of a friend. He shaved his head. He had a full head of hair, just liked the shaved look. I asked him one time if he'd help me to shave my head. No problem. I thought it looked good. FF to the following Sunday when I went home for dinner. My mom took one look at me and burst into tears. Too radical a change for good olad mom.
