Judge David Stras: "How My Grandparents' Experience During the Holocaust Shaped My Views on the First Amendment"
"Judge David Stras joins us for a special address, reflecting on how his grandparents’ harrowing experiences during the Holocaust shaped his own beliefs and influenced his views on religious freedom, free speech, and the importance of the First Amendment."
Last week I was honored to participate in an event with Judge David Stras of the Eighth Circuit. His remarks were titled "How My Grandparents' Experience During the Holocaust Shaped My Views on the First Amendment."

I wonder what he thinks of Strafgesetzbuch 86a.
Prof. Blackman, is there a transcript? Thanks.
My federal judge was the daughter of two Holocaust survivors. Her refusal to end the lockdown contributed to the deaths of millions around the world. I sent her a letter about Lothar Kreyssig, the sole judge who upheld German law against the criminal acts of the Nazi government. It meant nothing to her, this Democrat lawyer mass murderer. Private prosecutions in the local criminal court requires a law license. I am unable to find a licensed person to prosecute her for malicious mass murder and for crimes against humanity. At the least, she killed thousands of nursing home patients by her decision. She killed millions around the world. See the 12 Nuremberg trials of those Nazi judges and prosecutors. We have no justification to look down on the German people of the 1930's. We totally outdid them in our death count in 2020.
My concern is that people are forgetting the reality of the Holocaust and instead reducing it to knee-jerk responses.
It's easy to say that those who perpetrated it were evil -- it's also incorrect as the infamous Milgram Compliance Experiment demonstrated....
The Holocaust was ordinary and common. This is what happened. Oligarchs in Germany and in the US put the Nazi Party in power. They greatly profited from government contracts, the plunder of assets, and fulfilling their hatred of some groups. After the war and the devastation of Germany, Nazi officials were hunted and put to death. Those were mere employees. The oligarchs were so powerful, they were recruited to rebuild the German economy, and greatly profited from the destruction they caused.
You may say, the past. Is 2020 recent enough for you? The oligarchs own the media, the Democrat Party, and the Chinese Commie Party. They loosed a military grade virus that was really a cold virus. The actual excess deaths in 2020 were around 100000, like the flu. But stirred up a hysteria. Their government servants locked up the normal people, instead of the infected people, as done for 700 years of quarantine practice. They dropped the world GDP $4 trillion. They got enriched by $1.7 trillion in the US, and by $2 trillion in China. As a result of the lockdown, 100000 nursing home patients died needlessly. The majority of the excess deaths came from diseases that went undiagnosed and untreated as they shut down outpatient care. Another 100 million people starved to death. That is the biggest mass murder in the shortest time ever.
I tried within my ability. This was totally against personal interest, since the lockdown made all my dreams of the past 20 years come true. It was great for me. The rest of you did nothing as millions died. I spit on every lawyer here before I spit on the German people of the 1930's. You lawyers are all selfish, mass murdering scumbags.
