Trump should have arrested Mueller and Pelosi for insurrection. They tried to overturn the 2016 Election with a pretextual investigation. The insurrection statute should be amended to allow a summary execution in the court basement on reading of a guilty verdict.
Alright, who left the cockatoo's cage open again?
Why is the Democrat Party the party of people with such ugly faces? These people are retaliating for years of awful treatment by everyone around them.
David's story?

Anyone selling a mirror to a Dem may be in violation of the laws against torture.
This time I disagree. They used the government's power of investigation against a political opponent.
Indeed, later, when they continued with an impeachment investigation, they expressed joy they didn't even have 4th Amendment requirements getting in the way.
And at this time, they also expressed joy at the opening of state investigations, should the federal ones fail.
There are plenty of reasons to fight him tooth and nail in the normal course of politics. I didn't vote for him either time. You can even argue Donald "Lock her up!" Trump deserved it in some cosmic sense as he used government jailing the opposition as a rallying cry himself.
But all this disgusting behavior did was show the wisdom of things like the 4th Amendment to begin with, as barrier to the king using government's power of investigation against opponents.
Trump was a brief anomaly. The real damage to America was from his opposition. This means you, dear hearts. You were the most sordid development the past 4 years.
The Fourth Amendment does not prohibit investigating opponents. It prevents unreasonable searches or seizures.
It violates the law against insurrection. Pretextual investigations were to reverse the election of 2016. Trump should have fired the entire traitor FBI, DOJ on Inauguration Day. Then, he should have arrestred Mueller and Pelosi.
You should hire a real lawyer to sue your mail order law school for miseducating you.
"They used the government’s power of investigation against a political opponent."
Lol, it was a perfect phone call!
Chief Justice who? I thought we weren't supposed to mention that name any more.
There is no difference between the Justices. All are Ivy indoctrinated, big government, enemies of our country. The one that is not will soon be acculturated to that degenerate Washington rent seeking culture.

Not as serious a treasonous act as the one that took place January 6 of this year.
Remember the Hong Kong pro-democracy protest at the Parliament? Same thing. Commies always call dissenters traitors. All Commies must be cancelled.
Governor Goofball Gabs!
Anyone selling a Dem a mirror is guilty of violating the laws against torture.
Cockatoo Considers Cuteness?
You lefties get really obsessed but it won't help you. GOP is taking back the House, Senate, and White House. SC is going 7-2 conservative.
Yes I am obsessed with a mob storming into the Capitol and demanding the death of the Vice President unless he violates the Constitution unless he institutes a dictatorship.
You are truly deranged. None of what you say actually occurred.

Boo. The purges begin in 2022.
That's your proff, that's all you got, some random knucklehead tweets something. Ha, ha, ha.
blocked
'Run away, run away, I can't stand it when people disagree with me!'
Ha, ha, ha. Dick.
Trump repeatedly and publicly urged Pence to set aside the electoral votes of the people of many states (in an election involving Pence no less). Of course Publius sees no problem there.
They backed up the trucks at 3 AM with warm ballots, un folded, with only Biden checked off. The same should done in all elections, now the battle of the printing presses, not of the voters.
Unarmed protestors who were let into the Capitol to peacefully protest....
You must know that they were not peaceful and were not advocating peaceful means.
As it was happening, millions of people (like me) were thinking: If those were BLM protesters, they would have been machine-gunned to a pulp before they got halfway up the Capitol steps.
That's horse shit. If they were BLM protesters, none would be in jail today. Name ONE BLM protester who's in jail today, in the aftermath of the violent protests involving property destruction, arson, and death.
"You must know"...
Well, there are videos, where they say they must be peaceful. And the cops say they can be let in as long as they are peaceful. And well, no one was killed. Except for the protestors who were shot....
So....

Curiously, I am not aware of any of these defendants being charged with treason.
Why are they getting treated more leniently than Burr, when they're so obviously even guiltier than he is?
The Biden administration must be biased in favor of these traitors.
Democrats, once in power, let go of past Republican misdeeds. Clinton did it with Weinberger et al., Obama did it with the GW Bush Iraq fraudsters, and now Biden is doing it with Trump and his people. Republicans are not like that -- they keep on attacking Democratic opponents even if they are long gone -- which I suppose you take as a sign of strength.
"which I suppose you" blah blah
Why not skip the mind-reading? If you're burning with curiosity about my views, why not ask me?
They have filed charges against the Capitol invaders/rioters/call-them-what-you-will. But not treason charges. Why not?
The day after Trump won in 2016, he immediately stated, nah, they weren't gonna lock up Hillary, or even investigate her.
It's almost like it was cheesy hyperbole for consumption by idiots.
Democrats: Yeah!
Rational observers: Now, about this treason and insurrection bullshit...
Insurrection bullshit?
We have a process for peaceful transfer of power. A very precious process (in that historically and sociologically this is hard won indeed). The protestors most certainly wanted to disrupt that. Trump and others most certainly endorsed a 'Stop the Steal' protest on the very day that the Congress was to certify the states submitted electoral votes. He expressly told the crowd that Pence should indefensibly set aside several state votes and exhorted them to fight like hell to keep their country in that regard. Protestors illegally swarming and disrupting the certification yelled for Pence to be hung (why do you think they said that my deranged friend?).
They wanted to stop the certification of the peaceful transfer of power. Of course the Trumpian authoritarians here scratch their heads and wonder 'what's wrong with that' in the same way that color blind people scratch their heads and wonder 'what's wrong with that' when their suit choices clash. They don't recognize democratic principles, they've at most just heard you're supposed to sometimes for propaganda's sake.
Notice how many of our authoritarians go with the 'Jan 6? well BLM broke stuff too!' They don't even get at any level the concern about disrupting the peaceful transfer of power at the federal level. They only can grasp 'broke stuff here, broke stuff there, so totes the same you hypocrites!'
The Capitol police allowed the protestors into the Capitol to peacefully protest. How is that treason?

The Trump Administration did investigate Hillary. But his DOJ couldn’t find anything. Remember?
It's not as if I think the parties are equivalent (indeed I regard one party as a whole lot worse than the other), but one characteristic which their more clueless partisans share is a tendency of "self-criticism" for being too nice. "We're so gentle and kind, we're too good for this world, we need to be ruthless like our enemies are!"
Of course they're ruthless - to the low-ranking, low-status people on the other side.
Not to the higher-ups, their fellow political-class members who may happen to possess a different letter after their name.
"Why not skip the mind-reading?"
"It’s not as if I think the parties are equivalent (indeed I regard one party as a whole lot worse than the other)"
Sigh.
"they keep on attacking Democratic opponents even if they are long gone — which I suppose you take as a sign of strength"
Just to remind me of the proposition you undertook to defend.
Well, it seems you aren't able to defend capcrisis' attempt at mindreading.
Neither of you could find any evidence, except your own suppositions, that I thought Republicans showed strength with their (alleged) attacks on long-gone Democrats.
The best way for them to show strength would be to have good policies, which the Republican party *as a whole* seems to have few of. They're not as bad as the Democrats, of course. That should be obvious.
What's also obvious is your suppositions and speculations and mind-reading are just a bunch of silly nonsense.
You do know Burr got off, right? Treason is notoriously hard to prove as a legal matter.
They did not pay for his bolls nor time nor stress. They should have paid with their lives. The fake accusers should have hanged.
All woke should reserve the flight to Venezuela. Payback is coming.
They didn't commit treason, since Trump was still POTUS at the time. Trump's the one who committed treason, and as we all know that prosecution is still gathering evidence.
Has the US ever executed a former POTUS before?
What treason?
Being let into the Capitol to protest by the Capitol police?
