If you are engaged in the practice of law (as opposed to just espousing nonsense comments here), and practice on the civil side in Federal Court, this case (along with Iqbal) have had more of an impact on general litigation than any other case I can think of.
Which goes to show, as usual, that while we always get the usual bleatings about the usual cases, the ones that matter usually fly under the radar for most people. Because the vast majority of cases aren't SUPER SERIAL cases about whatever stupid partisan issue du jour has every up in arms.
(I am so happy that they moved away from notice pleading. Ugh.)
